When I was growing up, Gen X was everywhere. They went to my school. They were in all of my classes and whenever I looked in a mirror I could see a Gen Xer staring back at me. Best survival tip whenever you have to deal with Gen X face to face is to remember you are not online. Gen X was the last generation to do face to face confrontation as the preferred method but confrontation doesn't necessarily mean violence, but it is more likely to become violent if you forget you are not online during a face to face confrontation.
