The fans also kick in too quickly. Even during video class the fans blow considerable heat. The temps are good though. I have changed the windows power plan to performace mode Can you tell the power settings in which u are testing on!!?
Which game are you playing?? It's normal for fans to kick in at high temps. If you are facing too high temps then change the thermal paste. Stock paste are shit.

Nah its because of the dual channel, try installing 1x of 16gb ram in the same laptop you'll get the same fps as 8gb ram in the video but on valorant. And yes More gb of rams helps in most games but the dual channel will significantly increase the fps

I really want to get a gaming pc but it honesty seems not with it unless I can do it relatively well , med to high and not under 60fps on new AAA sruff and ultra over 60 on the olde big games. To be honest the older but refreshed and new Halo is where I would spend most of my time as I like my rpgs like elden ring or god of war on the ps5.There is just something about laying on the couch with the big screen oled ( very high end tv mind you) that makes 60 fps and some lesser fidelity ok with me. But I also started as a console game since old school, grey box Nintendo was just on the outs.
