Hi!, I haven't seen you in a long time!, right?
Yes, maybe I know, I spent more than 6 months developing this, but I hope you can understand it.
You know, I know that saying "It was my first time doing such a thing" is not a justification, but really yes, it is the first time that I do this and that is why you may see animation errors in some parts, because I had to redo the project (D VS SMW) and well it finally came out "perfect" or something good I guess.
I know you're not interested in my life, so now it's fun facts about Darkness V.S. Super Mario World! Maybe some will interest you, you know.
--Fun facts-
1- Without realizing it, the video lasts exactly 15 minutes, very silly, right?
2-If you turn on the subtitles when characters like Mario or Koopa speak, you can read what they really said!
3-This is not so much a "First Episode" but rather a prototype to see if it is really popular and worth putting effort into a next episode, since it is somewhat tiring to do this alone.
4-In the video there are 2 "Original" Themes created by me, which are "Sonic's Telling theme" and "Welcome to Super Mario World", there was going to be a third song even more original, but due to problems of time and desire and knowledge ( Maybe) this one didn't reach more than one prototype and I didn't finish it.
5-Scenes like one in which Pibby explained to Koopa how to speak using his ability to create physical words, Mario and Sonic Glitch fight, or others in the intro where Sonic, Bf and Pibby were seen fleeing from the glitch through levels such as Chemical Plant Zone or Emerald Hill in which looked somewhat interesting in the background (it would be a spoiler to say so), were sadly discarded because they were not interesting to watch.
6-This was originally going to be half an hour, but I rethought it and kept it to 10 minutes to see if it's worth continuing. (The best decision of my life I think)
7-This is obviously a continuation and origin of the Nintendoesnt video (you should see it and understand a little)
8-Being my first time doing something like this, I had to demand too much from my PC to be able to animate, export, edit, etc.
9-Physics like those of Koopa, Mario, or another enemy or object, are totally calculated and made as if it were the original Super Mario World, the same with Sonic... That means that I spent playing Super Mario World, Kirby, and Sonic almost an quarter of time.
10-If this continued, in the next episodes you could see things like the evolution and improvement of Mario and Sonic or others' skills and characters, see how Pibby sees the harsh reality and adapts to it, new and "original" characters that could be friends or enemies, etc.
11-If you noticed, Pibby is a little bothered by BF sometimes, this happens because Pibby is bothered by how immature and stupid BF can be on risky occasions. (even though Bf tries to be understandable)

And that would be almost all, it is a spoiler to say more because that will only be when this is something "profitable" in time and energy. (it's very tiring to do this animation... even if I was procrastinating half the time)

@@Kirbyenjoyer2010 not really, thing is you see that BF and pibby met sonic in emerald hill zone wich is sonic 2 so the doctor sees after there is a bigger threat, isadie doesn't show the whole story but i think that after everyone gathers in green hill after they decide to collect the chaos emeralds and so come back to west side island that's when the darkness attacks them and so kirby and maybe others confront sonic and the others winning and grabbing tails that's why sonic said "i'll finish it, tails" implying kirby was the one who jumped them and so they manage to get all the emeralds but its too late, all the island is surrounded and then they jump to super mario world.
I absolutely LOVE how Mario was saved because BF's bullet hit the goal thingy(?) (And of course in Super Mario World once you reach the goal, ALL enemies disappear, or in this case, get set sent flying).

I'd like to imagine Bowser being so baffled and confused on how Finn just massacred his entire army due to appearing as a normal kid (now that I mention it, I think the reason why Jake wasn't there was because Finn is a one man army with the darkness, so he doesn't really need him).
I can imagine Bowser's reaction being like: "HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?! HE'S A FUCKING KID!" before he got turned into turtle soup.

Mario's explanation to Pibby on Bad guys was something to remember, given the type of show she's from, Pibby's never really known the concept of evil characters just that it's better to make friends. Poor girl has a lot to learn about reality that this apocalypse isn't gonna go easy with.
Yep, and also this applies to the fact that most of her friends were like non-human, and that she even had an reptile friend.
So that would also make sense.
Eventhought in the original she may ahd also learnt it because of the other two protagonists of the original version.
Watching Sonic fight off Kirby was actualy realy cool.

Animations great, and I absolutely love the fact Mario treats the koopa poorly (since he's one of Bowsers troops). Too add on, unlike most darkness videos, this one actually has depth into it! 10/10

On the other note, You did an outstanding job! All the little nods to everyones games are an amazing touch, Sonic, bf and pibby barely surviving because the credits rolled was an incredible idea, The fact a koopa is apart of the main cast is a nice change of pace instead of just being consumed by the darkness, Everything is amazing and cant wait to see what comes next for this series, Definitely worth the wait!

I absolutely love this. The positive impact of the Pibby Fandom really amazes me sometimes, especially since I still love this show so much.
One note is that you could spell check a few sentences when you’re writing them out. And another would be to keep a good idea of the characterization you want for the characters. Make sure to have a guideline!
I can’t wait to see more of this series, and I hope it improves further to become something awesome!

Seeing an actual fully animated form of LWP (even if pixelated) is so cool to see. I'm really glad you made this, it's so cool!! You deserve a lotta views for this kinda work. Me personally I'd like to maybe see some more characters from other games?? Something like legend of zelda, could be any character or just any other pixelated game of the sort. I'd love to see more of this, and highly encourage you to make more of this as I feel it could really get somewhere!! And another thing I love also, is how you don't just make it main characters which survive. Yeah, Mario's alive obviously but you kept just a random red koopa alive. It feels really fitting with LWP and the darkness as it's not like the darkness picks it's favourite side characters to consume but it's just based on pure luck on if they survive or not and so I love the fact that you've kept the red koopa alive and maybe we could see more side characters of games surviving in this? Or maybe Mario could get corrupted later on if you do decide to continue this (could be replaced with someone like peach!! Which I feel could make a pretty unique survivor) or just any other character! This is all just in my opinion though, after all it's your story so not like I have a say in what you do. But just giving my personal feedback and such!! Have a good and and I really hope to see more D VS SMW!!

This is amazing! If you do end up continuing this, this would be a great mini-series, cause this feels like what the cancelled Pibby TV Show would've been like! Also I love how unlike other versions of corrupted characters, you let them mostly keep their appearance and abilities completely fine, tho with a few tweaks.

Please we NEED more Pibby Content like this. I'm all for FNF Mods that do the concept in an interesting manner but oh my goodness there is SO MUCH POTENTIAL HERE. I'd love to see this be expanded upon.
I was expecting this to be another fnf mod. I’m pleasantly surprised that it isn’t! (Not that I would’ve minded if it WAS a mod.) This is on par with the mario animations I’d used to watch on newgrounds as a kid like SMBZ or rise of the mushroom kingdom. Love it!

but that raise me some questions: how did Pibby ended up pairing with BF and getting to get into other Nintendo and Sega games?
i'm kinda thinking it could be something like the one who's watching the TV and was seeing what's happening on the CN channel (about all the Pibby situation and the darkness) and decided they wanted to play some games to change the subject and their first game of choice was FNF, maybe the PC was connected to the TV via HDMI, or somehow ported the game into a Console to play on the TV, but whatever, the thing, when changing the Channel to a HDMI/VGA port and boot up the game, The Darkness and Pibby was algo changed to that "Channel" and now both are in their PC, The darkness following Pibby through this new world and well, BF was the only survival on their game before the player changed their game to some of the Nintendo and Sega games that they have backed up to their PC, starting all the madness.
also, i'd like to think that the Chaos Emeralds disappeared in that Cutscene because in the original game was programmed like that, you completed the game and that cutscene happens before going to the credits.

It’s interesting how both Sonic and Kirby were among the first to be corrupted by the Darkness, considering both of them canonically are incorruptible. Sonic can easily be seen from Unleashed and Kirby by his mere existence if we take into account Dark Matter and Void Termina. The only way they can be corrupted is willingly, in Sonic’s case you need only look at the Cyber Corruption from Frontiers, and for Kirby… actually nothing really comes to mind, the pink puff remains unstoppable. Hell even Galeem couldn’t stop him.
I appreciate the attention to detail in the beginning, attempting to make sense of the Sonic 1 sprite, the mention of Tails, and the Sonic 1 end credits via the little flashback at the start.
I can’t wait to see how this progresses, take your time, this is already a really cool series. Really brings me back to the days of SMBZ.

The corruption(or darkness) will only corrupt protagonists because they ALWAYS are someway stronger.
So if the red koopa gets left behind for little seconds while being chased.. he will die instantly.
Maybe boyfriend if he dies somehow he could retry but if he gets corrupt i dont think hes coming back.

This sprite is amazing! Can’t wait to see more of this!
I love how the game mechanics are taken so literally here in this series. Sonic has to rely on rings to stay alive, Mario and Luigi ‘power-down’ when getting hit. The goal post, it all really fits with the nature of Pibby and makes things feel more authentic.
It’s like the Darkness is actually taking over these videogame characters. It’s really neat!
I’m editing this now, just realizing I made a comment almost exactly like this in the FNF video a long while ago. Whoops. Uhhhhhh what’s a new thing I can say, I like the Koopa being a character. Fits with the theme of secondary characters taking over once the main ones are gone. Though I wonder if this is implying Mario is gonna get infected at some point.

Also I just realised since this is all in a video game and uses the mechanics from each world it would be cool if the surviving characters sometimes utilised glitches or exploits within the games they enter as an asset against the darkness since theoretically it would be possible if they knew how.

THIS VIDEO IS AMAZING! *Chefs kiss* id imagine how the darkness would take over other different video game franchises. this would be like super smash bros all over again except its also with characters from SHOWS OR MOVIES!. i think more like MUGEN. and again with Peach just witnessing bowser being killed *or most likely be infected too aftwerwards* id think with Finn distracted, Peach would start finding the controls to his flying thingy and just fly out of there and IF she survives and meets mario, Mario would be relieved and calm again cuz shes okay......OH and IMAGINE LEON FROM RESIDENT EVIL IS RECRUITED TO THE TEAM! he would definitly survive and so would many zombie survival protagonist like frank west for example!
I love how Mario just got chased down by this weird thing, and during the song you can see Luigi. Granted he wasn't looking, but if he saw Luigi he's handling the loss of his brother really well.
It's very good animation, story and adventures
but I have two doubts or confusions
1.- If Sonic had rings before Kirby pierced them with his sword, how did he just drop his rings and get out of there? Why did he still have his rings
2.- If Finn managed to kill Bowser but Finn is a cartoon, how could he get into a game if it's a cartoon?
Well, they're just doubts. I'm not saying that the story is bad, but as I said, they're just doubts

I don't know if you will like my answer to your questions so here I go.
1- uhm... if I remember correctly, the reason was that Sonic got distracted thinking about how he failed again to save someone in front of his eyes, so it left his body very vulnerable (even if he has the rings),
Or maybe a wizard did it.
2- Finn? I don't know what you're telling me in this one, but about the cartoons... well, I can't answer that, maybe in the next episode there will be explanations for this.
So, that was all i think.

Hopefully there’s resolve instead of everyone getting corrupted into darkness. That would be lame and time consuming. And hopefully it involves character individual strengths to win.
