Hvala ti što si postavio ovaj video, odlična svirka i jako mi je drago što sam bio tamo. Koliko god je Skofild bio dobar toliko me je i Bil Stjuart oduševio za bubnjevima, lik kida.

Thank you for video! I was on that performance - it’s really amazing experience. Btw do you know any fusion-ish jams in Belgrade?

You should check out a band called Fish in Oil, they play pretty regularly here in Belgrade

I dont think that Scofield, backed by Bill Stewart, could ever give an underwhelming performance. Like, itd be a cool experiment to jave John and Bill joined by an absolute novice, fresh outta his first year at Berkley, play w them in a Trio. Id be willing to bet it would still be phenomenal and that they could, with ease and grace, accommodate an inexperienced player. In my experience, the mark of good players, no matter the instrument, but specifically in jazz, is the ability to play and work cohesively with players under your skill level. Ive been playkng guitar for 20 years, jazz for 8. Ive had gigs where i sat in and the drummer is absolutely green. I can tell quickly and adjust my playing to his comfort zone. Same witb bassists, horn players, keys...u name it. I never had the pleasure to chat with a professional about this point, but im kinda sure that its something one must consider. Especially when you are John Scofield, the ethereal maestro, who is almost always going to be the best player on the stage
