Hi Brian, I am from Taiwan. My family moved to the US when I was a child. Soon after that I got detention because I was one hour late to school one day . Daylight saving time was not observed in Taiwan but it was in the US. My English was so bad and I had to look up in the dictionary what "detention" meant. I was so ashamed that I had brought shame to my family. When I got to detention hall, there was a party going on. The teacher ignored us completely as long we didn't kill each other. Paper balls were tossing around the room and people were out doing each other in telling off colored jokes. Everyone was laughing and having a good time except me. I sat alone and did my homework. I didn't know how to explain "detention" to my parents so I told them I stayed and finished my homework at school. They were very happy.
I do like your stand-up performance! I do think you have all the potentials to be really successful in your career! I just want to add this: I do know St. Vincent and the Grenadines and I also know where and how beautiful this country is. I also know people there just love Taiwan so much.
I recently found your channel and I like your jokes quite a bit. They are funneh! As I don't live in Taiwan, hence buxiban is not a common term for me, I googled it and now I learned a new term. Thanks! I especially like the election multiple choices questions joke. Good job.
