Merida fighting her father, who is considered one of the strongest, to protect her mother, is my favorite scene in the movie.
Sadly Merida is often overlooked as a Disney Princess but I do really love this movie, we all need a little reminder sometimes to be Brave.. the soundtrack is outstanding ❤

11:35 Turns out that's an actual dialect in Scotland. Doric - I think. I what he's supposed to have said was "If he were a wee (little) bit closer I could lob ma caber at him, ya ken (you know)". A caber is basically a tree trunk that's carried and tossed as part of the Highland Games, we see it later in the games when it lands on someone's foot.
since I saw this movie for the first time, I got an affinity for Scotland. 😂🏴
I love the Celtic themes and myth in this movie the Celtic culture originated in Central Europe mostly Eastern France and western Germany but after the fall of western Roman Empire In 476 A.D. the Celtic people migrated to Ireland, Scotland, and Wales and they believed in forest spirits like the wisps and they were the culture that started the holiday Halloween but to them it was called Samhain

Love Brave Merida is a great female character. The witch is misinterpreting the word change. Merida wanted inner change not outer change. The Prince wanted the strength of 10 men not turning into a bear. There is a extra scene after the credits.
You know the Dad was pissed when he had to row out to get those boys at the end. Like, How did you get up there? Ugggggg

My kids luv this movie, i think its because most of the people look like them. All my kids are gingers. Apparently my genes are very dominant. All my kids have my blue eyes and red hair, the freckles haven't set in on them yet but that usually hits hard around puberty. They just multiple like crazy around that time.
Did you work out the big bear that was in the whole movie was one of the princes from the other castle. He had been cursed by the same witch and unable to become human again.

Is her hair red or orange? It neither it's ginger. The accent in Scottish. Dundonian to be percist as that's where the actress is from.

Are Pixar princess does get overlooked and she's one of the actual princesses in Disney a lot of people they like to include in Disney princesses are not freaking princesses as they've got nothing to do with royalty a princess by definition is either the daughter of the king and queen or the wife of a prince some Disney princesses fit in both
