Such a great city with some really great monuments. Of course for most of the time the air pollution is too toxic so it's really better not to visit unless you enjoy lung disease. Also in this great city cows are able to wander safely and freely down any street, but Muslims and untouchables aren't.

I’m from Delhi. Though I live in south Delhi. Yamuna river water is polluted and contaminated by the factories, mills, workshops and big industries chemical mixed poisonous water. Which goes into the Yamuna river directly without any purification and filtration. Most of part of east Delhi’s sewage water falls into the Yamuna River. Wazirabad and Okhla industrial areas polluted water mixes up with Yamuna river water. Thats why this river looks like a stagnant pool and lifeless dead river. Aquatic animals lives are vulnerable in this river. Moreover anybody throw garbage and waste materials, even used flowers, plastic wrappers, bottles, poly bags, old torn clothes from their cars to the river from the Yamuna river bridge and emerge gods and goddesses clay idols as well to the river as a dumping ground. Congress, BJP and AAP all political parties are failure to start a clean Yamuna river mission and clean it properly neither maintain it continuously since 1993 to till now. AAP as a ruling political party with their CM candidate in Delhi have been ruling since 14th February, 2015 to till now. Almost 10 years. They are also failure to clean Yamuna river which flows through Delhi that part completely, neither control the air and water pollution, or either traffics, not even reduce corruption, and crimes. Delhi is not safe for anyone. Not only unsafe for women and kids rather its unsafe for men too. It has become a crime capital of India. Many areas are in Delhi which are underdeveloped and many inside roads and streets conditions are pathetic. You cant believe that is also Delhi. AAP Government and their present CM are epitome of failure. They did no welfare for Delhi and Delhiites. They did nothing in last 10 years except scams, scandals, corruptions, robbery, freebies, subsidiaries and drama. Shaded crocodile tears.
Shiela Dixit was far better than other CMs. At least we Delhiites saw the infrastructures developments works and a lot of changes drastically happened overnight in Delhi.
For last 10-15 years nothing much new developments happened in Delhi except redevelopment for the beautification of Delhi and G20 Summit in Delhi.
Arvind Kejriwal got Delhi as a readymade city. He did nothing for Delhi except distribute freebees and subsidies etc.
Being a Delhiite I wont cast my vote to AAP at any cost.
