- This was such a great moment. I was able to walk among the horses in the pasture again. And of course I would like to share this with you. We'll see who all the young horses are! My taxi picks me up. My mother and my sister.
This was the first time for me to be there in the meadow and film. In the previous video I showed one part and now the other part. It was amazing! There is not much to see about me, but in my head and body it is not yet the way it was. Fortunately, while posting this video, things are going a lot better. I'm going to get back to my old self! But this takes a lot of time. Unfortunately, that's why I don't manage to post videos very often. I'm trying my best!

It has been very dry in the summer. As a result, the grass did not grow. That is why the colts are indoors. So they have enough food.
It's cold the day I share this video with you! The first real winter day. It is -5 degrees Celsius. That's pretty cold. Really take some getting used to.

*Yvonne, it was so lovely to see your mum & sister meeting Prince Rising Star in this video. Ok some questions and I hope they aren't dumb questions: With the top front tooth being pulled out, how does that affect the horse chewing long term? Does it make the other teeth move closer together to then make the jaw smaller? (like it happens in human jaws) Do horses (like cats/dogs) have baby teeth & loose them to get adult teeth? Can you show a horse if it is missing a tooth especially a front tooth?*
Soon the horses permanent teeth will grow in.... She may be slightly uncomfortable for a moment, but will be fine shortly... I lost my own front tooth too early.... It is somewhat similar...

We are all amazed and grateful that you are posting as much as you are. Please don't feel that we are getting impatient. We are more than happy to wait. Your health is too important to rush these things. Take care and go at your own pace. You have a wonderful backlog of our favourite videos we can re-watch if we need a Friesian fix.

Thekla is so big, and all the foals have elegant heads. Frieda has calmed down and Reintje is still the baby sitter.
All the women in Yvonne’s family are beautiful. Rinse Janko was preening for her sister. He has an eye for beautiful ladies. What a beautiful photo you could make with them in the early morning light.

How many times are the mares bred during their time as brood mares?
Yes, that was Sanne. You can tell by the direction in which her mane grows the most (on her right) just like Uniek and Rising Star.
Nice to see an update on both Sanne and Reina, haven't seen them in a long time.
I absolutely love how the horses come to you and with such gentleness. Their eyes have such a softness to them and are filled with love for you. Thekla was too funny coming to you for more scritches. She's such a sweetie pie. It's ok to still not know ALL of your horses still. You know them eventually. Your brain is still in healing mode. The way Risey looked up at your mom like he was sayinh "What? I'm eating here woman" had me laugh a little. Your mom and sister are adorable. Big hugs to you and your family.

The rest of the herd is gorgeous to. I love seeing the young ones as they are growing up. Oh, and my Mom is scared of horses to. When I had my Mustang Horse Buddy, years and years ago, my Mom wouldn't go into the fence with him, she only pet him when he came to her on the other side of fence. She hated it when I had my horse, she was so scared her darling daughter would get hurt. Well that did happen, but like you Yvonne I still love horses and think they are majestic animals. D'aaww, big ol' hug from Jildou! x3 Teije Rein was so cute using Thekla like a security blanket letting her do all the socializing while he checks you out, Yvonne lol. You can see the moment he realizes the face scritches feel nice, but he's still a lil' scared. Reminds me of a toddler meeting new people and being friendly while hiding behind a leg.
My favorite part is at the end with your mom and sister. Risey was so polite! LOL even with mom's unexpected hug! Rinse Janko, too, such a friendly boy :3

You could tell RS was busy and did not take too well of being disturbed because these days eating is his only mission just like his foster mem but he was still so gentle. Never saw your family before, so this was a huge surprise, you have a very confident sister, it seems like she knows how to approach horses when she was showing her palm first and a courageous mem to caress horses despite being a bit afraid of them & hugging Rising Star.

I love the Three Amigos: Risey, Pieter, and Rinske Janko. All the horses love you, Yvonne, because they know that you love them. The foals are so handsome. Who is Waloubet's foal? Reintje is a beautiful horse. So nice to see your family.
Waloubet's foal is a very pretty filly named Louwanna.... We wont see too much of them as Myrthe has asked for more privacy!

My sisters and I rode for 5 years, English 🏇. One of my sisters had my father hold her enormous Morgan mare while she went back to the barn. The horse 🐴 was actually terrified of Dad because he is 6ft 4in, and gave her a very stern look into her eyes 🤣😂
Jildou just gave birth to Wyste, A baby boy this week. Life goes on with these Fabulous Friesians. So glad we can look at older videos and remember when these foals were so young. Your videos are like a giant scrapbook of wonderful times together. Thank you Yvonne👍👍👍
Another lovely video 😃😃😃! Those foals are absolutely HUGE now 😱😱😱. You can easily tell that Tsjerk is two months younger than Teije Rein and Thekla though. Thekla is such a cuddle bug like her mem and big sisters, and Teije Rein is definitely growing in confidence 😍😍😍.
Reintje is definitely happy to have you visiting the fields again, I bet that you both loved that cuddle together - she's such a sweet, gentle mare, and she seems to be the herd nanny again, watching the foals sleep whilst Saly and Frieda are off grazing 😍😍😍😍.

Loved this! It looked like you had a lovely, long full day with all the horses! They have changed and grown, but you recognized most of their names very well and it was sweet to see you bonding with the foals. Loved seeing your mom and sister with Rising Star. Next, you'll have to convince your mom to have a carriage ride! Rinse Janko seems so much calmer than the wild child he was as a foal. The colts are all quite affectionate and well behaved with you, so that is nice...I'm sure they play rough with each other, but it's great that you can safely physically reconnect and keep your "aura!" Hey, I have never had a horse and have always lived in the city. Horses frighten me also, unless they are behind A fence and I have room to run. I did not realize how skidish horses are. They can be frightened and run for a safe space. Thank God, STAL G AND STAL H, are VERY safe spaces. Thanks Yvonne.💕💕

Thekla only has colts to play with, she must get tired of them sometimes 😅 And I don't imagine mom Saly is that playful. Teije Rein from Reintje and Tsjerk from Frieda might get too rough for her soon. Wonder if there will be another filly for her to play with as a yearling?
Thekla will be in the baby herd next year with her mean, mean sister Marije.😅 she’ll probably play with Reina and Sanne. Right now it looks like she’s baby sitting the colts. It looked like Tsjerk was looking for her udder. Teige Rein probably told him she was born with milk.
Maybe Tkekla will play with Waloubet's filly Louwanna?
@@Motacilla191 That makes sense. I had actually forgotten about Waloubet's foal... We don't see her so often anymore, and only in the background if we do. The owner wanted more privacy, right? Either way, it does sound best if Thekla ends up playing with Louwanna, who's the same age (and a filly). It's better than having only 2-year-old fillies. They are already bigger and likely aren't as playful. Could even accidently harm Thekla.

I am surprised by how big Marije is now. I am not surprised she is the boss of her age group. Lovely that she and Matilde are still besties.
She does look the same size as Mathilde now. And she’s an authoritarian. Once she moves into the big herd she’ll probably move Klaske aside. Klaske is a kind leader and Marije is a tyrant. I love her anyway.

Hello Yvonne, loved seeing your Mother and Sister visiting you on the Stal G. And I live how you visit the horses out in the field. You improve daily with your rehabilitation. God Bless
Will you breed RS? If so, to another Freisan?
No he’s a thorobred right?
@@superpeggy2011 He isn't. However, you aren't particularly wrong for this observation as there is a TB in his bloodline (KWPNs are mixed with several breeds such as Oldenburg etc). RS looks like a thoroughbred currently because his technical breed (KWPN/Dutch Warmblood) goes through several ugly duckling stages until they are 3-5 years old. His neck right now looks a lot like a TB (straight and horizontal), it will be arched/swan when he is older where he will also have a crest on his neck and he is ribby because he is still growing in height but once he becomes a finished product of his breed at over 3 years old, you will see the clear difference in Dutch Warmblood and Thoroughbreds.

Another beautiful winter morning full of horse snuggles and curious fluffy adorable foals simply put it’s absolutely perfect. Each of the babies is a bit different but the one who immediately stands out to me is Thekla because of course without fail she’s exactly like her mem and big sisters a big love bug. Tsjerk is the shyest of the 3 Musketeers though you can tell he’s coming out of his shell with Teije Rein learning from his mem that the strange 2 legged creature with the funny box in her hand means lots of good fun experiences all the littles are just too cute. Yvonne please don’t ever worry about the number of videos you post what’s important is your wellbeing you post as much as you can when you feel up to it we all love you and you have our full support always #Yvonne Strong❤️❤️

Rachel. It was still only 17 at Mt Lofty on Tuesday. The hills are still green. My daughter works as the restaurant manager for Goldings and it's beautiful there at present.
