Smartsheet demo enabling users to update form submissions without accessing the data sheet

A short demo on how you can enable users to update form details they have already submitted. This could also be used if someone partially completes a form and needs to finish it later or if you want to send the submitted form on to another person to validate.

Hi…Very helpful video. Thank you so much. However the logic that is added to the form was missing when updating the form. Is there a way that can complete the form with the presence of logics that are included when creating a form?

Great idea! You could set some logic in your update request so that it only shows fields relevant to different types of submissions. You specify the fields that show in the first place so you can set various condition paths. Trust that helps!

@@Smartsheetexpert I am also trying to figure out how to use the original form; I have many instructions built into that form and don't need a watered down version; how do we show those original forms?

@@Nettkay unfortunately you can't see the original form as such using this method at this time. Dynamic View is an alternative as users can log in and see and update their own entries.
