Give it a couple of years. When their dealerships are filled to the brim with rotting electric trucks they will have to make some important decisions. I bet we might even new companies step up to the plate to start making vehicles. I don't think we have seen the end just yet.

I can see why it's going away. With tiny motors making ridiculous HP numbers in trucks like the quad motor Rivian and the compact packaging of motors in vehicles like the Lucid Air, massive engines and engine bays aren't really needed to achieve the same performance with such poor efficiency. Hennessey needs this step up with some development news on Project Deep Space.
