I am new to the networking field, even though I could understand the concept. I have a doubt:
In the working of DNS section, why the request should pass thru the FTP client and then to the DNS client? why the request can't directly go to the DNS client and then to DNS server? It would have been better if you could explain those points too...

I guess it's all related to formatting of data. The data look that DNS client process might be different than the normal. Not sure!
