Wow! I never thought I’d see Monsta X on this channel! Their b-sides and English albums can be a bit more R&B, but they do go hard on their title tracks. As an older group, MX is pretty versatile. Personally, I love their Japanese releases. I recommend their debut Trespass, Rush, Hero, Beautiful, Alligator, Gambler, Kiss or Death, and Rush Hour. Pick anything; you can’t go wrong.

They have so much duality and EVERY ONE of the members is lead singer potential... especially their rapper Jooheon (Joohoney), who sings most of the ad libs in "Who Do You Love?" and the high note in "Gambler", as well as other track and covers like Versace on the Floor. One of their members "Wonho" left the group after a false accusation to protect the other members but started his solo career once the accusations were cleared. He's worth checking out, especially "Lose" and "Open Mind". he has the body of a bodybuilder, the voice of an angel, and the moves of a graceful dancer (he went viral on Tiktok with his solo album MV because of his body).
Monsta X is such a versatile group in their musical spectrum that no one compares to them (their leader 00:59 Shownu is currently doing military service). They have a mature, aggressive and powerful sound. On the other hand they made All About Luv, a full album in English, where they show a totally different concept of their Korean music, being more melodic and where even the two rappers sing and man… they do it very well. A few days ago they made history as the first K-pop group to have 2 albums entirely in English and its a masterpiece. An interesting fact that also differentiates them from other groups, apart from the fact their rappers are also vocalists, is that the lyrics of some of their songs are usually naughty and spicy and we love it.
