Michael Seibel is honestly so insightful. No bullshit from this guy, seems like every point is gold.
Seibel the Sage... amazing advice as always.
Michael was crystal clear when he said. Find a particular problem you are passionate about. Thanks Sonya Davidson, CEO H2 Energy Now
For me personally, Ideas are really the easy part, the hardest part is the technical part or even finding the right people to execute your idea!
I'm technical, let's hear the ideas 😊
I like some of his thoughts when it comes to putting ideas to creation for version 1.
A great video and as some one who has started multiple businesses I would have to say this information makes sense in the tech industry. Some of these points also go over into other sectors but be careful. Its so much easier to start a company but its also just as easy to screw things up. After v1 make sure you listen to that MBA whispering in your ear and get yourself structured before advancing and taking funds.
Young Grizzly can you elaborate on this?
Great stuff! Thanks Michael, hope you're good man :D
Where has this been? A great eye opening discussion.
In my case, as a contractor(UI/UX), a lot of startups come to me with a shitty product and want me to help fix it :O. Lots of great points nonetheless
What's the best way to find non-technical co-founders for sales(customer acquisition), customer out reach, support, pitch meetings... Is that okay to outsource?
I'm working on a prototype but the problem is everyday I come with advanced features ,I don't know how really organize thes features, I mean what are the metrics that help you change your prototype before you start develop it ?
You have to apply the idea of MVP and get something in front of users. Watch them use it and figure out how to make it better. Then make something that will absolutely delight them. At least that's what YC says!
i wish "in"sourcing could be a thing
Guys, can anyone spell for me the word on 4:32, please?

Coolent
12:11 "I rather be good than lucky"

If you’re a tech startup without a tech cofounder you’re (probably) doomed.
Only if you have no money.
Is there a reason why this interview is chopped up?
Just testing it out as a format :) -Craig
Ok, thanks.
@@ycombinator Have you considered a format where you post the whole interview, followed by clips of the best highlights? That's the format I like the most as a viewer.
@@Kyzuuh similar to Elon Musk's interview!
How much growth is enough to indicate that your mvp is working? Minimum growth? Like how much users are visiting

what if my biggest problem is to build a successful startup?
Peter thiel says you can have this goal but it doesn't work well as a direct goal/direction. There are a lot of things to decide when you want to be a good Startup like what will you solve, what value will you provide people. So, you will have to decide on the problem-solution pair nonetheless even with your smart trick of reframing the problem 😀
That's a problem
5:43 that’s me right now at my job lol.
Brainstorm the problem with friends
4:30 what does he say, please? _____ childcare?
Sami Folio affordable
lol theranos couldve taken a listen to this
Anyone looking for technical co-founder? Like this comment.
Companies don't succeed because of idea, they succeed because of execution.
Absolutely especially when you have a good team around you
And so little views, smh
