Cooking with Fire🔥 - Detroit Fire Department's Engine 40

Every DFD fire station cooks two full meals each day of the year. The firefighters take turns cooking and cleaning for the crew. Engine 40, located at Ewald Circle and Dexter, opened their doors and kitchen to show the daily teamwork, camaraderie and tasty "chow" all firefighters and EMT"s get to enjoy!

Maybe cook a little healthier and not all that fried ish. Firefighters life expectancy is cut down as it is last thing we need is more problems …. Just an honest valid opinion

Yup. As a fellow ff, nothing but absolute respect to these guys, DFD is the real deal. But you gotta take care of yourself in this career. It's hard on every part of your body as is.

I'm sure they do not eat like this everyday. And I am fairly certain that these guys are fit and in shape to handle the job.
