I have combination skin that changes severely with weather! In dry weather it gets very dry& dehydrated and in summers it it gets normal-dry with oily nose but Acne never leaves me🥲
This moisturiser from Reequil is THE PERFECT ONE for me! I load it heavily during winters and in summers I use it only at night or if I am sitting in AC during the day. Extremely hydrating and traps in moisture for more than a day which means healthy hydrated skin with good lipid levels! I find it very similar to Cetaphil Moisturising Cream but with a hint of fragrance and slightly more hydrating!
Can oily skin use it? Yes very much IF sitting indoor in AC or at night in little quantity.

Comedogenic is not a regulated term and varies from person to person even for acne prone skin. Two people with similar looking acne can react very differently to the same product. Its not accurate to judge products based on its ingredients same as a cream containing rosehip oil is not at all same as applying rosehip oil
Hi, I have combination skin, can it be suitable for winter? I live in a very cold area, during winter temp decreases to 10-12 degrees. Please suggest. Hi! I live in Delhi NCR and the temperature & dryness here is extreme in winters. Reequil and Cetaphil Dry skin moisturiser work the best. Have used reequil in three winters. Haven’t used minimalist though.
@@desicurly thank you for your reply. I just ordered the minimalist one as I found that re'equil one has HA in it, and I'm already using HA serum so didn't want to overdo it. I don't know how the minimalist one will be like, tbh. Wish me luck 😅 afterall skincare is nothing but try and error.

Yes sounds great to me! If cetaphil doesnt work you can also use plum aloe vera face wash. And apply moisturiser when skin is atill damp. Also apply sunscreen during day time. You can skip moisturiser before sunscreen if sunscreen is nice and moisturising

Hi yes you can use anything before thing. Make sure to use Hyaluronic acid and moisturiser both on damp-ish skin for it to work better

Fragrance in skincare is not irritating for everyone. Its advisable to stay away from fragrance for only those who already have sensitised skin due to whatsoever reason or any skin condition like rosacea or fragrance in general irritates their skin

Hi! No exfoliation or exfoliating ingredients till your skin gets all healthy again ♥️ use a moisturiser every single time after washing face. The face wash should also be a very gentle conditioning one - basic is better no fancy ingredients like charcoal etc. plum aloe face wash, plum HA serum on damp skin and reequil moisturiser for atleast 1.5 months. In place of Hyaluronic acid serum you can also ONE THING cintella asiatica extract OR any other hydrating soothing toner like KEEP COOL Bamboo toner. Basically moisturise, hydrate and protect your skin. By protection I mean using sunscreen.
No oils, exfoliation nothing till skin gets back to healthy♥️ i hope that helps. Also cetaphil original range is also great for such skin (the white blue green one)

Try Plum Aloe face wash or Cetaphil dry skin face wash (does not foam). Both are really good for dry sensitive skin. Cetaphil one isn't that good for acne prone skin though

Hyaluronic acid or any kind of serum - goes first and then moisturiser on top of it. HA serum works only if you top it up with moisturiser. However this plus HA SERUM can be too moisturising for oily skin

I found it quite similar to cetaphil one but a little more hydrating. You will not notice visible differences like spot reduction or acne reduction with moisturiser because its not their job. Moisturiser works by supporting skin remain super moisturised, hold that moisture, strengthen skin while it goes through various conditions and serums.

I tried Minimalist marula oil moisturiser….its great my flaky face is gone But it create some Large pores on my face and my face now create excess sebum , daily facing breakouts….is this good for that….Im free from flakiness now im stuck into acne prone 🥺🥺
Oh boy! Do you know why did that happen? I think you should ditch all actives and moisturiser for now & incorporate niacinamide serum (for pore cleaning, acne without drying effect) and follow up with reequil ceramide moisturiser. Plum has some good niacinamide serums.
It's cause it's clogging your pores. Even this requil moisturizer claims to be non comedogenic but it actually has 5 ingredients that clog pores. So even this will not work for us ☹️ u see how companies r lying to ur face?

Re'quil ceramide moisturizer have fragrance and more thicker than marula oil moisturizer...Last 1.5 weeks most saddest part in this year... After the 6th day of using marula oil moisturizer i got some different infection like fungal acne, but i cured in one week... My dark spots slowly started faded... Then i got breakout face 😂😂😂 now it's cured and left with more marks☹️

Hi! So winters can be extremely drying especially in north india. Redness flakiness could be because of that and prolonged dryness and dehydration of skin can lead to damage of skin barrier (upper layers of skin). This particular moisturiser is fabulous for winters too! Literally so good and suits all skin types. Acne can happen to anyone with any type of skin even in winters.
However, for such puss filled pimples please do visit dermatologist and find the cause why its happening. Moisturiser wont treat acne. Also do get dermaco salicylic acid spot treatment gel. Its so effective at settling down pimples in few days time and at the same time its not irritating or drying.
However its still a temporary fix. Dermatologist would help the best in understanding the reason of postules

Whenever I use ceramide based moisturiser my skin reacted badly. I feel some itching and texture on my skin.
It could be that your skin is sensitive to fragrance? May be take that factor as well. Fragrance is not unsafe or reactive to skin but some people’s skin doesn’t do well. Its quite a subjective experience and can vary person to person.

Hi, if you have excessively oily skin then using a ceramide moisturiser can be too heavy for your skin since ceramides are all lipids. You can instead go for oil free moisturisers since the finish is not oily

With sunscreen - only if the climate is quite dry or skin is very dry. Else will be too heavy with sunscreen. Most sunscreens are moisturising on their own and so are enough on their own to moisturise skin

And yes you can and infact YOU SHOULD get this one asap for your face. This is really good at managing skin barrier and keeping it healthy. If its not healthy, this one will make it so over time. Just have patience ♥️ also make sure to not use any actives for few weeks. And when you start again later on, do apply this moisturiser each time. It helps big time.

Hello, back then I had used some japanese and korean products because indian skincare market wasnt doing this as well as its doing now. Now we have most products with india. Basically a hydrating toner like SNP cicaronic toner or keep cool bamboo toner (these are still made better by j and k beauty companies). Followed by a damage repairing essence or serum like plum goodness 10% niacinamide serum or Purito Centella unscented serum on damp skin right after toner. Follow up with reequil moisturiser on damp skin. During the day use any sunscreen of your choice on dry skin (if you sit in natural light).
All products are unscented except SNP Cicaronic toner. Dont use heavily scented products while your skin is repairing and avoid using exfoliating products, essential oils till it comes back to normal. It might take upto 2-3 months. Took me that long too but every month was a progress and I knew I am doing right things now so I kept going.
For face wash use a very gentle cleanser like Plum Goodness aloe face wash or rovectin hydrating face wash.
If you can spend then Purito, Rovectin are some really really good korean brands that are amazing for damaged skin. May be you can buy them till your skin gets better while you find affordable alternatives. Also Plum goodness products are really good affordable ones for damaged skin barrier like 10% niacinamide serum, aloe face wash, oil free moisturiser, hemp ceramide moisturiser, niacinamide sunscreen, cleansing balm.

yes can use but Its too rich for oily skin. Still can use in dry or cold weather and indoors with AC when skin gets really dehydrated. Use small amount

There is no such product as non comedogenic ♥️ what triggers my acne prone skin can be totally fine for your acne prone skin and vice versa as well.
But no this one doesn’t clog pores.

I am having dry skin and little bumps and closed comedones on cheeks and forehead … which converts into pimple one after another … when one gets calm the other one starts to come out …i get a new pimple daily and also heal a pimple in every 2 days … i have been using neutrogena gel based … i need one for winters … will this suit me and can i use salicylic acid or any other serums with it with it… can u just guide me what to do??
Hi! I didnt get what product you are using from Neutrogena? Gel based….Moisturiser? Anyhow, yes you would need something too keep the pores clean so they wont clog and that’s done by exfoliation. Salicylic acid is drying by nature so not sooo great for dry skin if used frequently but you can still use it once a week. Or you can also use chemical peels (dr sheths has really good ones in different strengths get the mild one) or you can also use niacinamide serum that also works on keeping pores clean without drying skin. I too have acne prone skin to i can understand. Pimples will still come and go and that’s okay learning to manage them is important. If zit occurs then apply dermaco salicylic acid sulfur based spot treatment. Trust me its AMAZING And very effective. These are few things you can incorporate along with moisturiser

@@maanya-gk8sq i used the requill one its great and u can use it as per your skin feels like sometimes it feels more dry then u can use it a little bit more and also fash face before sleep which improves my skin alot
