According to RTO, fog lights are allowed on bikes if they are mounted below the headlight and total power consumption is less or equal to the headlight. Also, the user must remember, fog lights always have the yellow beam as they scatter less because of their high wavelength.
Can I increase the headlamp wattage…..like if stock is 35 watt can we go for 40 Watts ?

When we buy fog lamp we pay GST… Tax is everywhere.. and bikes OEM lights not so great. Cars comes with LED HID, for these police they dont have any problem..

Bike manufacturers can give you high power lights as well, rto rules prevent them from doing that, and so rto says to only use lights lower or equal in power to main light

The problem is not with the fog light..... Police is annoyed as to why u did not stop when they signalled ull to stop...??? And regarding Fog light ..be it led or what ever if it comes under fog lighy category. .....and if its installed below headlight or if it does not exceed the brightness then ur headlight ....it can be installed...... and police should ask the govt to mend the roads and potholes if they are really so concerned about the public safety.....or else its just a hypocracy ....and harassment. Make us feel ull really care .....
