    My teacher told me a story about a woman who had a gas explosion while being in the bathtub (don’t ask me how she did that). She called 911, she didn’t have any pain but the doctors knew she would die soon, so they asked her what messages she has and who they should be sent to. She didn’t know what he meant because like I said she didn’t have any pain.
    She died 20 minutes later.

    I am a 4th degree burn survivor! It’s a long grueling process. I dont know what he is talking about my worst 4th degree over my tailbone hurts everyday of my life. I do understand that most of the nerves are non existent. But you still have muscle tissue damage. My skin tightens up which is extremely painful, the muscle hurt like hell and are constantly in spasms and the surround nerves hurt like a bitch!

    Do first degree burns cause hair loss? I used a laser device on my scalp, and I now have a sizable thinning spot followed by a burning feeling. It feels like a relatively light burn, and shows all the signs of it being in the first degree class, but its been months and a mild pain still persists followed by no regrowth in that area.

    • @bethanydavis9023
      @bethanydavis9023 7 месяцев назад

      The survivor must've been in a really good hospital and with really good health care and family to look for the best treatments.
      And he must've been in crippling dept after.....
      But these are just assumptions. What was the article? Because after the 4th degree burns is getting to the areas where it's almost always fatal for the victim, mostly because of shock and the time to get to treatment. (Some the meat and bone will "melt" and fuse together, and another type of "burn" is Ash which is essentially cremation.... that's not to mentions past boiling point for skin to where it melts. All those the person likely died before the body could get that far...)

    Thank you for this. I have a few questions (graphic warning), but i recently read the autopsy report of one of the passengers that was in the plane crash that killed Kobe Bryant, and the woman had "complete charring of the skin along with skin splitting," and i was wondering what that meant.

    • @gekcho

      Charring only happens with full-thickness burns that were probably 4th-degree burns. Not sure about the splitting in a corpse.

      @@Lemonademan
      Yep… For the first time ever I used a saucepan with a handle to bake something in my oven at 400° F, and even though I took it out with an oven glove, I totally forgot a moment later that the handle was still going to be hot to the touch because I’m so used to grabbing it when cooking with it on the stove.
      I fully grabbed the handle with my bare hand almost right after I had taken it out of the oven and set it on the stove. It was most definitely a second-degree burn, instantly. The skin became white immediately and was rough and thick looking.
      I couldn’t stop taking my hand out of cold running tapwater for a good half hour, because the moment I did, it would instantly hurt so much more and felt like it was still being burned.
      I got tired of standing there (I have a very bad back so I can’t stand still long like that for long), and started using a bowl of cold water to put my hand in whilst laying down in bed, but I had to keep changing the water often because the water would simply get warmed up too quickly and my hand would start hurting a lot again.
      At one point I just became so tired of it that I used some sleeping pills to knock myself out and go to sleep, just so that I didn’t have to feel the pain anymore (it was way past time to go to sleep anyways).
      I woke up forgetting about the burn, but the moment I grabbed something with the palm of my hand it reminded me because there was instant pain again. It had already begun forming a good blister. 😬
      I’m hesitant to ever use a handled saucepan again in the oven because of this. I think I might stick to my baking dishes with very short handles to grab, as I only ever use them in the oven and my brain won’t forget that I always need to use oven mitts to handle them.

    I can't really tell which type of burn I have. So what happened is, it was like midnight and I was thirsty, I wanted something to drink. I think it was milk (I was like 2). So my father got up and began making the milk. I got impatient so I went into the kitchen and the kettle's burning hot liquid poured onto my arm. It would've gone onto my head but my dad moved it and it went into my arm instead. I began crying for like 5 minutes but I stopped because it stopped hurting I guess? I don't actually remember the reason I stopped crying.
    It's most likely either a second degree or third degree. I really can't tell tbh

    A few years ago, I was making some crafts with a hot glue gun and a piece of hot glue dropped onto my exposed leg. It melted maybe about an inch of muscle, there was a hole in my leg. I quickly took care of it and it took awhile to heal (I couldn’t go to the hospital at the time). The spot now looks like a light brown bruise, and it’s almost completely healed besides the color. I can’t feel anything in that area now.

I bought big like cotton patches and used athletic plastic stuff they used to put under my knee before putting my brace on so it wouldn’t chafe, skin didn’t stick to it. I’d also clean it with germ ex every night and out neosporin under the patch be4 going to school.

    Whit type of burn is it where you get white blisters

    So I just burnt my arm, it was small and only on the outer layer, the skin was dead and white, around it looked a little shiny, but then I foolishly peeled it off, and now I’m missing the outer layer in that small patch, but the thing is that it barely hurt at all, and I’m not some badass with a high pain tolerance or anything so there was no special reason for it not to hurt, what degree of burn do you guys think it is?

    • @steventowles9432
      @steventowles9432 4 года назад

      Oh and it wasn’t blistering, but that’s probably because I peeled the outer layer of skin off

    I just burnt myself with a hot glue gun and immediately after I peel the hot glue off after it kind of like hardened up a bit and immediately turned white like the burn is white and it looks like it’s like bulging out of my finger but it’s not it’s just a white I don’t know I’ve had a second-degree burn before and it’s completely scarred over now that was a while ago like four orfive months ago so it’s completely scarred over now but my finger like the area around it like a big portion of it’s red and it’s like the actual burn itself where the hot glue touched is white.

      Janice Beresford a cheap over the counter solution could be aloe. It's the stuff you put on after a really bad sunburn. Nice cooling effect. You can find it at Walmart. Depending on how severe the burn is a doctor can prescribe you something specific to your burn.

I understand why you did it but still is BS that RUclips likes to play "Parent" . This is not a "murder scene" this is an educational video. Great video though I just had to get that off my chest.
