This was a welcomed break in the stressful and, sometimes even meaningless cycle of modern life. As kids we grow up with untainted eyes, awing at the mystery and beauty of the world but as we grow up, so much of that is taken away. Its like we are being blindfolded from the day we were born and as the years goes away, the grip is just getting tighter. This video opens a glimpse into what once was lost, the fascination of the universe and urge to explore it like a child with no worries and where your fantasy is the only thing that sets the limit to what is possible. A personal library containing secrets and knowledge which goes beyond your wildest dreams, a place where worries and the constant distractions in life are replaced by the calming and rhythmic sound of the ticking clock, a room with a warm soul calming its inhabitants and urging them to expand their view of reality into new spheres of beauty and awe. Our mind is a library with countless empty shelves, and its a shame to keep them stand there and collect dust.

I'm speechless! It's like you pulled every passion from my mind and made it into a viewable/audible masterpiece! I can't remember a time, even as a child, where I didn't look to the stars... and my love for astronomy has never died; and now my son and I both share the same obsession. My dad loved collecting watches and all types of timepieces, and my mother and her mother, as English teachers, always had/have a library room- floor to ceiling books- in their homes. And so I followed in their footsteps, and read everything I could get my hands on growing up, until now, I am a freelance writer/artist myself, and an avid collector of old pocket watches ( love the steampunk theme) myself. And so, since I always watch for your new creations ,when I saw this- my jaw dropped. LOVE the ticking,btw. This showed up in my recommendeds randomly and I am absolutely floored and enchanted! This place... I want to live here. I could spend millenia in a place like this.
The subtle off coloring, textures forming around light flashes, violin subtly descending downwards only to rise again, shimmer and shine created by thousand years old dust. Golden blinking of book covers adorned with golden letters , chandeleirs of crystal and silver tenaciously reflecting what light there is, bloom dressing the whole image in positive feelings while the fire quietly mutters a crackling lullaby. Aye that's a good render.
The large door creaks and rumbles open releasing a sprinkling of dust from around its edges. Your eyes adjust to the light and finally you see it. The astronomers great library. It's just as otherworldly and ethereal as you imagined after searching for as long as you can remember. The way the light makes the brass astrolabes sparkle throughout the room, the clocks that seem to be ticking for time itself or even for all the time you spent on your journey here. You close your eyes and take a deep breath inhaling the smells of old parchment and leather bindings that fill the room. When you exhale you finally feel content knowing you didn't just spend your life wondering. You found it.
A world where I feel at home, a spaceship traveling interior with the knowledge of many planets and time standing still between gravity, the neutrinos flow through the life on board. Quality!!

So I looked it up and dug up some amazing stuff surrounding the armillary sphere. This Greek guy Hipparchus is credited as the believed creator of said sphere but where he got his knowledge was from a compilation of Sumerian sources known as "System B". It goes on to say he even used the same system of measure created by the Sumerian texts. Mind blowing. It's weird that this isn't common knowledge. At least not to me. And I only read 15 min in Wikepedia, lol. my first mistake probably was going to Google to search for things when I have no bearing.

I agree. For now, I use Google cardboard to view this and it is immersive enough. You can turn your head a bit, and it fills your field of view. It really is different than viewing it on your phone.

I'm speechless! It's like you pulled every passion from my mind and made it into a viewable/audible masterpiece! I can't remember a time, even as a child, where I didn't look to the stars... and my love for astronomy has never died; and now my son and I both share the same obsession. My dad loved collecting watches and all types of timepieces, and my mother and her mother, as English teachers, always had/have a library room- floor to ceiling books- in their homes. And so I followed in their footsteps, and read everything I could get my hands on growing up, until now, I am a freelance writer/artist myself, and an avid collector of old pocket watches ( love the steampunk theme) myself. And so, since I always watch for your new creations ,when I saw this- my jaw dropped. LOVE the ticking,btw. With every new piece you do, I'm always like, "oh, this one's my favorite!' lol, but no really, THIS ONE is my favorite, haha! The subtle off coloring, textures forming around light flashes, violin subtly descending downwards only to rise again, shimmer and shine created by thousand years old dust. Golden blinking of book covers adorned with golden letters , chandeleirs of crystal and silver tenaciously reflecting what light there is, bloom dressing the whole image in positive feelings while the fire quietly mutters a crackling lullaby.

The large door creaks and rumbles open releasing a sprinkling of dust from around its edges. Your eyes adjust to the light and finally you see it.
The astronomers great library. It's just as otherworldly and ethereal as you imagined after searching for as long as you can remember.
The way the light makes the brass astrolabes sparkle throughout the room, the clocks that seem to be ticking for time itself or even for all the time you spent on your journey here.
You close your eyes and take a deep breath inhaling the smells of old parchment and leather bindings that fill the room. When you exhale you finally feel content knowing you didn't just spend your life wondering. You found it.

A library is a special, sacred place, in my view. A library is a place of safety, and a safe place to learn. If knowledge is power, then a library is an arsenal with which to arm oneself to beat back the darkness of the world.

You have no idea the D&D campaign startup I just pondered for the first time. Creativity has hit my brain like a rocket, and I *love* this.
For those curious about the orb object in the beginning: it is called an "armillary sphere".
So I looked it up and dug up some amazing stuff surrounding the armillary sphere. This Greek guy Hipparchus is credited as the believed creator of said sphere but where he got his knowledge was from a compilation of Sumerian sources known as "System B". It goes on to say he even used the same system of measure created by the Sumerian texts.
Mind blowing. It's weird that this isn't common knowledge. At least not to me. And I only read 15 min in Wikepedia, lol. my first mistake probably was going to Google to search for things when I have no bearing.

I have always been interested and admiring astronomy, it has been my little hobby for a few years. I love admiring the sky at any time of the day. The space always blows my mind and there is still so so much for humans to discover about the universe.
