    Thanks Dale and Team for sharing your knowledge in setting up a Tipi. The hints will help a lot during this weekends setup in the Swiss Alps.

    Thank You Dale & Crew for the very best instructional "Tipi Setup Demonstration" I've ever seen. I've read countless books on this subject, but I am also a visual learner at best. Having read some good accounts, I knew what I was seeing here to be true and accurate. I wish I still painted portraits, I would love to paint Angelica Aadland as she was such a beautiful Lakota Woman. Best Wishes, Jay

    Thank you, Dale & team.
    I am in the process of making my own tipi and have been reading The Indian Tipi. It has slightly confused and overwhelmed me, however. I am much more of a visual learner and this video has helped me greatly! So thank you! :)

    thank you. And how do tie the legs together. My Teepee is on a floor that is slippery and I need to tie the legs together so they don't slide out. Do you or can you have a video on that? Thanks

    Just wondering why you wrapped the rope on the outside of your cover. I’ve always wrapped my poles before I put my cover on with the lift pole. Even when I look at the Laubin’s book, it is the same way I do it.

    why are you walking all over the canvas like that? doesn't it ruin the canvas eventually

    • @LtAadland
      @LtAadland 8 лет назад +1

      Dale had taken his boots off before walking on the canvas. When we are preparing for a setup we usually lay it out to check for any rips/tears or wears. We haven't seen any connection between us walking on the canvas to any weak spots.
