- Calabria Italy is the place that we are lucky enough to call home. We live in the town of Scalea, in Calabria, Southern Italy. Today, in this vlog, we travel to Sangineto.
On this channel, we show you our adventures, and our daily lives in Italy. Today, we take you to the small town of Sangineto, a town that has all of the charm of old Italy, with an amazing seafront, and quaint hilltown Centro Storico. In this vlog, we try to show Italy in a real way, letting you knowe what life is really like, in Calabria Italy. We travel to different areas, such as Sangineto, and enjoy taking you along with us
. We are Michael and Justin.
We are American expats, living now, full time, in beautiful Calabria Italy, in wonderful Scalea. Michael is physically disabled, with mobility issues. As we vlog Italy, we do like to show in our videos, that anyone can dare to dream of life in Italy, regardless of mobility issues. The truth is, Italy mobility can, at times, be challenging. But, never impossible. So, come along with us on our adventures in Calabria, and beyond! We experience Italy living to the very fullest. And we invite you along! Join us, as we give you this Calabria Italy tour, showing you Italy lifestyle, culture, and food.

Greetings from Western Canada. We drove from Sorrento down to take the ferry over to Sicily 3 years ago. Stayed in both Agrigento and Diamanté and drove past Scalea. Of course we got lost a couple of times as we never take the main roads so we drove on similar roads and thru similar little mountain towns so I know how you were feeling. Love the Italian lifestyle. Lucky you to be able to make the move.

Glad to see your video again with beautiful « Sangiveto » as I said to my husband who had laughed at me !!! 😅 The mountains and the sea are gorgeous but it is hard to climb all these stairs and the roads are very narrow. I remember being a little afraid on the Amalfi coast by bus for it is very narrow too...We had a good time watching your video and have laughed with you a lot. What a pretty little village and the Lido area looks lovely but I loved the narrow streets and pathways meandering thought the Centro of the hillside village. I know how you feel about driving on those very narrow roads…they can be hair raising! LOL 😂 Thank you for taking us there! Bacione ♥️☀️💋

I loved this village, Sangitano storico , i wonder when it was built I think it must have been beautiful living there once upon a time thank you.
Loved your reaction when driving back on one lane. It reminded of me and my hubby when we drove in town Decollatura and Serrastretta, with our little fiat. it was fun we'll nevet forget.

Another great adventure guy's. A lovely authentic town. I really love your happy faces and your inspiration it's so lovely to see. I didn't realise how mountainous Calabria is until we drove from Naples it's so green and lush with streams flowing. You have the best of both worlds really peace and tranquility when you want it or business of the resorts nice one. 😉

After a tough few weeks this was a great upbeat video to watch, a great adventure! Now you’ve done that the drive up to the Christ at Maratea should be a breeze! It’s high but not tight like that road. The Christ, the marina and the old town of Maratea would make a fabulous video 😜 xx

I often wonder that more buildings in that area don't copy the art deco style of buildings in old Miami Beach. Art Deco would fit the beach area perfectly. Imo
