Yeah I caught one a couple years back wading the packery. It was only a 17incher but it put up a little fight. I was surprised to catch one too.

Those trout are actually chasing menhaden (pogey) if you ever get a hold of some of those they’re phenomenal bait.

Since ya'll are traveling put this on your wish to do list. Fish in Venice Louisiana and limit out on trout with a charter captain. That would be epic!Like a day fishing there and then on Grand Isle along that beach. Be a good series and fyi all ive been using is vudu shrimp.

Another video of little kids catching baby fish, it is the same exact hookset because the lure is just about the size of their mouth! When they attack it from behind, the hook has nowhere else to go. If they would match the hatch, they would be catching their slot limits. I don't mean to troll, these kids could be doing a million things that are way worse than making videos about fishing. The quality of the video however, is pretty darn good! Who knows, these kids in a couple years could be making some awesome videos
