Thank you for taking us through the Hoffman factory. Very enlightening. I know that is probably the only way many of us are able to see the process. So kind of you to take us along on your trips. Love your videos.
Thank you!
I now, really appreciate my Hoffman pop dots! God bless all the individuals who made it possible.
Thank you Cindi for myself and other "un-abled" quilters that cannot walk on uneven areas or without our canes and walkers. I could never get to see this in person so really appreciate you making this video. 😅
Not only you as I wilt in extreme heat! I so appreciated watching and learning from the comfort of my sofa without needing an ice pack.
Yes it was so hot. So hot.
Thank you for an entertaining, informative , educational video. I have always loved batiks and after your coverage, I have a new respect for them. Not a crumb will go to waste, those folks work too hard for me to even think of throwing a scrap away. Thanks so much, Cindy.
That’s right!!
Thank you for sharing! Very humbling to see how hard the people work to make the fabric ❤
This was so very interesting and it just made me love Batiks even more!! Thank you so much for sharing this………………..
All of us said the same thing!
What an awesome experience to see how the beautiful fabrics are created. Thank you so much for bringing us along with you ❤ 💕
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you for taking us along on this interesting trip. Batik making is fascinating.😊
It gives you a new appreciation for the intense process and labor involved to create a beautiful fabric from very little modern machinery. Thank you for taking us with you.
They make $3.00 A DAY.
Thank you, Cindi, for taking us through the process of the batiks at the Hoffman Factory. So very interesting to see. It will mean so much more when we buy any Hoffman fabric. Thanks again for sharing with us. ❤️😘🤗💕
Glad you enjoyed it!
My first job out of textile design college was making sample headers, maintaining the sample library and then running the QC lab. But samples were cut with those huge tailors scissors one colourway at a time. Great lazer machine.
Wow thank you so much for the video. I learned a lot. I’m going to start ordering more batiks
Me, too! Especially environmentally-caring Hoffman Batiks. Loved that floral at the working site.
Yes that’s right. Such great people. Great company.
Loved the tour and seeing how all this is made. Can't wait for your fabric to arrive. Yes, we will all be wanting it.
Wow! The fields of fabric were beautiful. Congratulations on your own design and fabric. What a honor for your shop and family.
Thank you so much! Yes we can’t wait to get it!
Thank you Cindi, a most enjoyable, informative and educational video. It has given me a new respect for batiks. Absolutely fascinating.
This was wonderful. I am very grateful that you offered this video. Many years ago I worked a lot with Hoffman batiks, with a lady in Laguna Beach, California. The information and photos of the people and culture was an extra bonus. Thanks :)
Hoffman Batiks are probably my favorite fabric. This tour was fascinating. I so appreciate you sharing this video and that Hoffman was gracious to allow the tour.
Thank you for your tour of the Hoffman factory. Never knew there was so many processes that batiks had to go through. Really enjoyed.
So enjoyed your video! Amazing! Educational! Historical! Love my quilting life! Thank You Cindy! I'm a KS gal and do not travel much so this was very enjoyable 😊 🐝🐝🐝🐝
I have always L0VED batiks but after watching this video I have a whole new and even greater appreciation for what it takes to get to us!! Thank you sooo much for this video!

Very Educational Thank You
I noticed how the guy pronounced "batik" when I watched the video. VERY interesting! Thank you so much for sharing the video!!
Yes!! Totally different. Everyone there pronounced it that way.
That was amazing! I love seeing the process and the people making it all happen. Thank you for sharing their artistry with us!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Wow! What a process! It’s amazing for all the work that they don’t cost a fortune! Amazing 😮

This is informative, beautiful, insightful and I may have cried a little.😢 Thank you for this video.
Oh my goodness Cindy! Absolutely mesmerizing! Such an amazing video. Thank you for sharing your adventures. I love the idea of offering treats to the gods for protection too. I may have to start doing that myself!! Can't hurt! I must admit though, my favourite part of the video was when you were on the bus..."And here are some Hindu and Buddhist temples..OOOO a cow!!!" LOVE IT!!!! 😜🥰
lol. I have to admit we saw more elephants than cows.
I have seen this process before and its like WOW, all the work/workers that go in to making it.
Fantastic video!! Thanks so much Cyndi for giving us this sneak peak into what is definitely my all time favorite, BATIKS ❤

Well done! Cindi, your filming and commentary, thank you. You showed the highly, skilled labor necessary to produce Hoffman Batiks. A glimpse into life working in Bali. Those chops, wow. Kudos to the Hoffman Family. Loved the fields of pink 🩷
I knew you would!!

It was!
I'm in for your next Bali trip :) - How amazing
You should! 4 years.
What fun!
Thank you for sharing your experience! I have some old batiks in my stash. I’m going to see if they are Hoffman.😊
Wow! Amazing! I want to go next time!
Please do!
Thank you! This is a trip I could love! One question: I did not see anyone in your tour group with a hat or bag made out of Hoffman batiks. I think the people making the batiks would loved to have seen the end result of their labor intensive work.
Thank you Cindi, that was fascinating! Now go home and try to get back on U.S. time. And as my little people say, "All the love.". Welcome home.
Thank you!!
I now have a better appreciation for the cost of Batiks. I love using batiks in my quilts. Just wondering why they bunch up the fabric?
To give the mottled texture when they dye it.
This was enjoyable. Do they eat their dogs there? I have seen some people in places get shocked. They saw loving puppies. And they were eaten.
Some of it reminds me of Mexico and the foliage is more like Okinawa. How little they make doing such physical work is stunning but not surprising. Hoffman, won’t pay the workers more- not because they can’t, it’s because they aren’t lawfully required to.
Cindy, that guy is cute! lol
lol. Yes. And so young.
Darn it lol...do you think he's into old bags? Only if he's 30 Plus lol. Just kidding. He sounds very knowledgeable. I enjoyed the video Cindy, thank you!@@TheFabricPatch
