I had the Olympus AF-1 mini way back in the day brand new, they're very similar to the mju series from Olympus, obviously less desirable but equally capable in my honest opinion.👍 I still have mine somewhere but have misplaced it...:(
I got an AF-Slim only a few days ago and I have to say I LOVE the form factor and how this little piece of plastic feels in the hands. Which may sound odd. But the rounded edges are really comfortable, it’s really small and it’s so light, I’ll just casually hold it up to my eye with one hand, which feels extra awesome as a welcome little change to my bigger, more professional cameras. =) At weddings, I might toy around with passing this around among the guests and have them take silly photos on it. Although I think that kind of job is better left to instant cameras... but we’ll see.
Great find! I love the form factor of this camera - I’ve got a Nikon Lite Touch AF (aka AF600) from the same era and I’m a sucker for these slim point and shoots. Excellent video!
Thank you, ah the AF600 yerr that's on my wish list. I own a few Nikon point and shoots... too many probably...and can't quite bring myself to sell them. Most are excellent
Another Point and shoot camera that has an interval shooting mode is the Pentax IQ zoom 60 R. It has 2 different intervals, and a double Exposure mode too 🌝
I have this camera and the battery died with a nearly full film inside. When i put the new battery in it fully reset and now says that I am back to having 0 pictures. Any idea how i can get my film out?
I've just discovered that I have a film camera, Samsung AF-Slim Zoom 35-70 mm but confused on how i would load film and unload film? a bit different than the pentax film camera i've got! Would you have any ideas? :)
Great question! I've looked high and low for the instruction manual on-line and looked at the camera and ...I think the answer is no. I think your meant to use a tripod and essentially (gently) press down the shutter in bulb mode for the seconds required.
@@dangerpowers123 I've just bought one AF Slim for 28€ but finding a manual is a real challenge... I've searched also a Rollei Prego AF manual but nothing :(
I'm really late, but with these you usually have to press the shutter button with something covering the lense until you're at shot 15 again in your case. Put a beanie over it or something, anything that doesn't let any light in
I just checked the manual. Push the Mode button 9x to where the film icon is blinking. Then push the Mode button and Shutter button at the same time to have the camera rewind the film. You can do this at any point in the roll. If the screen flashes "E", that indicates a misload of the film.
So when the camera is shot normally it just rewinds at the end of the roll. From memory to rewind mid roll you press the rewind option then I think a small hole exists on the camera ... That you poke with a pen or needle. ...i think. Good luck
@@kamalpasha6778 let me know if you work it out. I'd always assumed selecting the rewind mode would just work...on its own. But I'd not needed to use it yet
The Red Eye version of the Samsung is a stripped down version with a worse lens, worse autofocus and worse build. Don't recommend. This camera however, is every bit as good as the premium consumer 35mm compacts, like the mju, t4 and big mini.

That's cool. I'll keep an eye out for one
I love the AF-Slim! Great camera!
I've continued to use it and am always impressed by how sharp the photos are

You can do the mid-roll rewind function, reload the film, turn the flash off, stick it in a dark bag, then shoot to the frame you last recall seeing.
Great pictures!
Thank you
Shoots turned out great. Found a few in charity shops. What are you scanning with as im after a scanner just now. Thanks

i have the same problem! Did you manage to unload the film?
is there a remote release for the cam in bulb ?

If you manage to find a manual for this, please let me know!
I was looking earlier in the week and the only way is to buy one from eBay
Can't find one scanned and shared yet 🙁

Turn the flash off, stick in a dark bag, then click until you're at 17

Hey, do you know how to rewind on this camera? i go to rewind mode, and then dont know how to do next?

No, there is no hole or rewind button. After hours, i can find how to midroll rewind on this camera 😄

Yeah i can make it 😁 i always curious how to do that bcs there is no manuals on internet.
Did you figure out how to rewind?
