- It is impossible not to like Jameis Winston.
The new Cleveland Browns QB has wasted no time making an impact on his new teammates, and winning the fan base over with some pure comedic gold from Berea.
Jameis Winston has aspirations of being a starter again one day but is ready to be the model backup for Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson.
In a somewhat surprising move, the Browns inked Winston to a one-year deal in free agency. Winston is a former No. 1 overall pick and spent the previous four seasons with the New Orleans Saints.
The Browns appeared to be leaning towards bringing Joe Flacco back to sit behind Watson. But things developed quickly with Winston.

Ok. I'm rooting for him. Hope he never sees the field except for kneel downs, but he's likeable.
Winston averaged 28.6ppg the year he had 30int 8 more points per game than Cleveland had that year. Games without both Evans and Godwin he still averaged 21.5ppg that year with 3rd & 4th string wrs, which was more than Cleveland.

Like Quincy Carrier said. Any backup QB not named Deshaun Watson, Cleveland fans will be rooting for that QB at least 50% or more - they will root for said QB whatever his name is. Jacoby, DTR, Flacco, now Winston. Regardless of the interceptions thrown they’ll find a way to excuse it, It is what it is until he (Watson) wins an AFC championship or takes em to the Super Bowl.

With all the QB's in free agency that we end up with Winston?, now I know we're not going anywhere fast. Entertainment at it's best and we're so hyped for a season that we can't even see what's going on. No matter who The Dawgs get and mock my words, humiliation is a money maker

Anyone can accuse anyone of anything. Doesn't mean it's true. He was never charged for any of them so innocent until proven guilty.
