I must say that the English translation here is quite good, or at least better than most Chinese languages movies I’ve seen on RUclips, which I suspect rely on google or other machine translation. It typically results in incomplete conveyance of the original script and sometimes outrageously wrong distortions. I like the main actor, not traditionally handsome (but not Ken doll like either, or looking plastic), but has a natural comedic presence.

Typically they even do a worse job in the American remake too-think of the far superior foreign originals in “Let the Right One In” (remade as Let Me In) or the stylish French original La Femme Nikita to its sorry American copy (many shot for shot imitation!) and TV series. Hell, even the great Martin Scorsese won his only best Oscar director award (The Departed) for a remake of a Hong Kong movie called Infernal Affairs (though he should’ve won for many other movies-Taxi Driver, Raging Bull, Good Fellas, Gangs of New York to name just a few-but got snubbed, but that’s a different topic).
A great script and actors who can bring this story to life. I really got invested in the characters and story. Would make a great series❤❤. Far superior to American shows🎉
I'm sure there is a "method" to their madness - if they could just explain it rather than lording it over Yin .. so Yin is being trained specifically because of his skill in secret weapons -- and yet he does his second assignment and goes after the 'big baddie' with a sword ?
EXACTLY! Stupid ending. Why didn't he kill the boy at the same time he killed the girl and then is going to sneak up him again in an attempt to kill him
This is a product of a story copycat movie making from the west blockbuster movie s also known reverse engineering copycat from the most well known advance equipment techs around the world
It's a remake of "Wanted" a 2008 movie with James McEvoy, Angelina Jolie, Morgan Freemen etc... So, not an original screenplay, but a remake well set in a different world, time and culture. I did like also the original american movie.
