If you think Wiggy's waders are great, you need to check out Wiggy's Jacket Liner and Vest Liner as a mid-layer when you're deer hunting this fall. They are awesome and a bargain as well!!
Now those waders are something that would come in handy. I always use a long pole when wading to keep my balance and check for holes. It's also handy to push floating logs and snakes out of my way.
2 years and about 100 crossings in them. also just spend 3 hours in them last week in over knee deep swamp tangles looking for a hog. they hold up so well.
I have had a pair of these vinyl hip waders for many years ,, I use while fishing alpine lakes .. Mine don't have any reinforced soles , but used with neoprene wading boots works well .. boots over waders .. when you want to get out on the long shallow points and stay dry ,, awesome product ..
Thanks I have been looking for something like this for when it rains heavy i cant get to my stand. But now i can. i know Wiggys makes sleeping bags but did not know about these
These are great. But I would not use them to walk miles in like that. The bottoms are tough but not tough enough to last miles of walking over terrain. But they are great for creek crossing etc.
I have a pair of those. Haven't needed the lately and hadn't thougt about them. This is the first time I have heard an outdoor channel mention Wiggy's. I wanted the Fossil Ridge Parka and Bibs, but by the time I was able to afford them, they had quit making them 3 years prior. The sleeping bag I have is very warm. I got the one that is two bags zipped together, the FTRSS system. I remember Backpacking Magazine got mad at Wiggy and would not include his products in their tests.
I bet the other manufacturers bought out the magazine to curb sleeping bag competition. Or Mr Wiggy offended them with the truth about the other sleeping bags.
@verdexj160 yep I don't trust too many of the comparisons anymore. Same with the auto industry they all owe someone something of get paid somehow by someone. I don't read into them too much
