How did I miss this live one. I grew up with Peter, Paul and Mary. This was always playing on the turn table. I'll definitely have to practice this one.
Thanks Cheryl… I love those classic folk artists of the 1960s… And the ones that are still carrying the torch even today! 😊🙌🙏🎶 wishing you all the best, Stu

Hello from Ed
Hello there Ed!
You're a great teacher. Thank you so much! What strings do you use?
I use a combination of jazz guitar strings on some ukuleles and not others. I use the Addario NylGut strings
@@UkuleleZen You play beautifully. Such a gift. Thank you for sharing with us. ❤❤
@@UkuleleZen Do you mean Aquila?
Hi Stu! Didn’t know you guys had a bug, glad you’re feeling better. I wonder what that F/C chord is really named, if it actually has a name. This reminds me of the chord melody Bye Bye Blues that I play. It’s also in F.
I wanna try this after we get through with all the Christmas music.
Thanks for your kind message and good question! Although that is "officially" an F chord with C in the bass, I personally prefer to simplify it and call it an F. On a guitar or paino (or accordian) -- some hamony instrumnet with a larger range these different bass notes really stand out. On uke the voicings are still differnet but the effect isn't really like a "slash chord". anyways, my $.02 ;-). Thanks and wishing you well...I miss the good foks in Florida!
Hi Stu. I revisted this wonderful lesson. I love this song and fingerpick it both on guitar and uke. However, the simple intro is valuable as it breaks down the harmonized scale so clearly. Thanks for wonderful tuition. Best wishes to you and your kin from the Canary Islands
Thanks so much David (it is David here, yes?) Hope this finds you doing well...happy jamming :-)
Hello! I'm really interested in the chord melody course. Am I too late to start?
No, not at all! It’s available at the link down below and the discount is good through January 8. I think you’ll really enjoy it… thanks for watching
Hi Stu, which course do you recommend for learning the little intricacies you do please.
The course shows the basic outlines of the solos and how to add some embellishments. A complete fretboard harmony tricks coursewill be coming someday...for now, the aim of the course is to get you playing solos with ease.
Hello!

????Hello Stu
I have the problem when I try to mute the a-string with the ringfinger I also mute the c-string with my middle😩Any advice???
Greetings from Austria
Thanks for joining in Peter. I recommend that you place the finger on the fretted note and find a way to angle the whole hand downward towards the floor - just a little bit. You’ll find the position you need for the mute. It’s less finger and effort than you think. 😊 Happy jamming!
