You can load samples onto the M-Caster Studio from a computer over the USB connection, but assigning them to the pads has to be done on the M-Caster itself as shown in the video. Can this be used as a stand-in for a mixer when not recording? So I'd have my studio monitors hooked up and playing music through bluetooth sometimes and other times I might just be watching tv shows from my PC without recording?

You may look at a different streaming mixer like the Roland Go:Mixer Pro or a Yamaha AG series mixer. If you have more questions, just give me a ring! @@jeffacuesta If you are not using the mic input for anything else, you could use a direct box like the Rapco DBBlox or any other direct box. You could potentially use the red keyboard input, but you would need something that brings the instrument to line level, otherwise it would be too quiet. Something like the amPlug from Vox or Blackstar would do the trick, you could use the headphone out. Or another preamp you may already have! You can not mix 2 effects at the same time. The mixer allows 1 effect at a time. 😌
It is possible to stream with just using an android device for Facebook?? Just xlr mic, mackie m caster and a phone??
