Very cramped platforms because of the old original design. It's inspired on the Paris example, but somehow the platforms are much narrower than in Paris (even for the early 1900s). And for the first time at 6:40 people who can use those guidance tiles and strips in the floors. Nice tiny atcheological exhibition at the end :)
Thanks for doing Gran Vía! By the way I noticed in some of your old Madrid Metro videos that you only covered one platform instead of showing both of the platforms and you didn't show the interchange corridor between lines at interchange stations such as eg.. Guzmán el bueno so I was wondering if those would be reuploaded or not Overall, very nice video! 👏
Yes, in my older videos I was trying to save some time to be able to produce more videos per day during a trip... I don't think I'll be covering these stations again any time soon, unless there have been major changes. Too many unvisited stations left to do! 🙂
Can't wait to see the new, presumably 4000 series trains stopping at the L1 section of Gran Via. Metro de Madrid is finally preparing the farewell to the Pandas by purchasing 40 six-car trainsets.
That's another station I haven't visited yet... There are a few metro stations currently closed for renovation in Madrid. When they reopen, I will probably come back and film all the rest.
Nice one! Parisian vibes
