Angela, thank you for taking the time to celebrate this beautiful holiday. It seems to have sadly gone by the wayside of late; everyone jumping right into Christmas. Thanksgiving Is my favorite holiday, my favorite meal to cook and my favorite memories of family now gone. Blessings to you and your family in this holiday season. 🧡🤎💛
@@ParisienneFarmgirl This makes me miss all my old China and stemware.😩 Sadly, all the Old China and crystal stemware are loaded with Lead. Its has been a long hard journey trying to detox lead out of my body. It's so pretty and nostalgic to look at but no one should ever eat or drink off of them. 💛
“And her grace filled the autumn air, a countenance of joy gifted us this golden day, a bounty of giving, of sharing, of loving the splendor of this season.” ❤️ Just so beautiful, thank you.
I would love to know who penned the words of this lovely verse, as it is unfamiliar to me, and I do love poetry! It reminds me that there are still gentle souls on the planet! This so perfectly describes this lovely woman and this video!
@@lisamccraw3763 Over the years I have jotted down anything and everything I have ever come across that I wanted to remember, until I found that I had snipets of paper ALL OVER THE PLACE! So one day I decided to write them all down in a notebook---and eliminate the snipets spilling out from everywhere! I have now added into my notebook your inspiring words of beauty! Thank You for your gift! Keep writing and making the world a more beautiful place! Do make sure you copyright your material so no one can steal it from you---it happened to me by American Greetings, and it was heartbreaking. Years later I was finally able to hire an attorney to obtain the legal copyright! My best to you!
@@pamelaprivette5361 My mother did the same, jotting down her own random thoughts and bits of verbal beauty and wisdom that she chanced upon in her reading. This inspiration she gleaned from others gave her spirit wings, although her own life was fettered by her circumstances. Once long ago I came upon a poem that seemed to describe my mother so well. I cut the poem out and intended to keep it always because I treasured my mother so dearly and all the beauty and meaning she had brought into the lives of her children in spite of her struggles. In the poem the writer chronicled what she was feeling as she sorted through her mother’s things after her passing, trying to decide what to keep and what to give away. But everywhere she looked, tucked in a drawer here or a book there were all these bits of paper that contained treasures of thought and poetry that meant so much to her mother that she was bound to capture them on whatever paper was near to hand. The household objects of her mother were rather easy to deal with so she kept a few meaningful things for herself and made decisions of what to share with her siblings and friends of her mother. But as she had gone through the house, she had also gathered up all the fragments of paper and put them in a wicker basket. Finally, her dilemma became what to do with all these treasures of thought that had meant so much to her mom, and not only to her, but these little scraps scattered about had been so present in the family’s daily life that they had seemed to paper their life with meaning. The kids were very aware that these were treasures to their mom, and they were reluctant to let them go, but now with her gone, how to hold on to them and should they even try? That poem could have been written about my own experience with my mom and her paper treasures. Somehow in the course of time and moves, I lost the poem, and I have tried to find it ever since, but Google has failed me. I only remember the last two lines which aptly describe the poet’s predicament and my own as my mother recently passed away, and I found myself going through the things and thoughts that meant so much to her. The poem ends: “What shall we do with the scraps of paper that were her life, the little kites that will not fly again in any wind.” I hope someday I can come upon that poem again!

Hi Angela, you inspire us,to do more in our decorating, the world is in such sad place now,but it is people like you,to inspire us,and show us the real beauty for the Holidays,Thank You Angela.
I’m convinced that my grandmother, a lover of fine and beautiful dinnerware, would have LOVED your channel. She gifted her Spode China to me and I set the table with it each Thanksgiving we host. Thank you for all of your inspiration! And Happy Thanksgiving!
Angela... so beautiful! Thank you for this extraordinary video of tablescapes. I was so glad when I saw some transferware dishes I have and will now use. I watch your older holiday videos as well and cherish each one. Thank you. Nancy
Just beautiful! I like to use my friendly village Johnson bros dishes I got from my dads antique shop many years ago. I think I will add natural decor this year. Thank you for the ideas. And hadn’t thought of the fairy lights down the table.
Right now my thanksgiving decor mainly consists of putting wild grape vines on every available surface, along with other fun looking weeds and my pumpkins for the garden 😆 oh! And beeswax candles.
I love table scaping and this was stunning. I especially enjoyed the second version as I do this.....yours was extraordinary. I enjoy your fabulous channel.
What warm and homey feelings I got watching you do these table scapes. Trey are all nice, but my favorite was the first one with the gorgeous candle holders and bees wax tapers... and the etched wine glasses.. with the wood french door backdrop!!!!! Swoon worthy!

I loved this video! So beautiful and relaxing! I thought all the tablescapes were wonderful! I especially like the natural elements that were added to each. I hadn't thought of fairy lights for Thanksgiving table but they definitely added an element of magic.
I love watching you do tablescapes! I love decorating My table as well. It's more fun then the cooking part.i have a wicker turkey that I put a carved pumpkin inside and then inside the pumpkin I fill with grasses and leaves and peach or yellow roses. Thanks for sharing!
Had to share this on Facebook....honestly don't know which Thanksgiving table decor I liked best. Elegant and practical in using your natural resources. Thank you, Angela!
Bonjour! Such pleasure to have run across your channel for the first time! Your decorating is so natural, lovely and graceful---just as you appear to be! I love your beautiful mixture of the natural with the humble and the elegant! It is just so perfect for any day---and especially for Thanksgiving Day! The atmosphere in your home is so gracious, warm and inviting! Look forward to more of your videos! Happy Thanksgiving!
I adore an elegant Thanksgiving table, and yours were beautiful. I loved seeing the tiny colored liqueur glasses on the first table...I have a very similar set, but never know what to do with them, so I have never used them at a dinner!
I had a set of the ironstone dishes you got from Camille (if they are the colored flowers ones). My granny gave them to me. She got them from a gas station many, many years ago for buying a certain amount of gas. Somehow over the years I have lost them. I just about cry every time I see them on a video or blog. 😢
That was literally just what I needed, Angela! Just a tad under the weather today and trying to get a little rest between the chores, and this was so relaxing to watch! Plus, it gave me some inspiration, of course! Appreciate the time you put into these terrific videos!!!❤❤❤

Thank you for the varied tablescapes…hard to choose a favorite. Interesting how you used the coffee “mugs” in lieu of the more “formal” cups and saucers in the glam scene. One of my favorite things to do is to set a pretty table for special dinners. Loved the linens and gorgeous stag runner.
