Er!! When I grew up in the Caribbean, in the decade of my education in that region, before being tsken by my parents to residence in UK, the main input of my education then was based on the heights of European history, culture, morality, etc !!
Now, in my six, nearing seven decades residence in the UK, I have come to despair at the arrogance, nay stupidity that the European political class has actually descended to specifically White leaders in Europe falling behind the lead of the most inept, corrupt, senile leader in contemporary US!!
Tis incredible to see European countries actually put in plans thst have the outcome of crippling their economies following in the lead of the US Administration based on magical thinking that Rusdia can/will be defeated in Ukraine, which has absolutely nothing to do with the lives of the publics of Europeans, absolutlely nothing whatsoever!!
Imagine, the Government of Germany, a burgeoning economic titan within Europe, told by a senile crook in Washington that they will destroy their access to relatively cheap fuel that underpins their economic position, and the German Government, actually say, yes please do this and ruin our economic position for all time, as it will hurt Russia more than it will hurt us!! Imagine such stupidity!!
Here in UK, we having growing social and economic problems also happily join in the political insanity and use vital economic resource, some £ 15 billion under Sunaks premiership to Zelensky in the most corrupt country on the Europeanainland!! Imagine!!
Today, i have seen 14 Prime Ministers come and gone - when Sunak goes- and see my 15th caught in the same political, economic, cultural mailiase with the coming of ( possibly) Starmer, a man cut from the same cloth of arrogance and stupidity tvat now creeps into every crevice of European life!!
But as we Black peope say,: See me and come live with me are 99 different things!!
Now in 2024 I can actually attest to the truth of that saying!!

China is very patient and tolerant. China has a 5,000 years history. This antagonistic period with the US is only a small piece in history. China can wait, but when it pounces at the right time it will destroy the US in every way that one can imagine.
The Americans have a short history. History, especially history of foreign cultures is not their strong point.

I am not surprised about the pure performance of the leaders in Europe but I am surprised about the pure performance of the US government. The challenges of the future cannot be solved with war and sanctions. Many people in Germany think that after the end of the war in Ukraine, things will continue as before the war. I don’t think so. RUZZIAN PRISONERS TAKEN AT Vovchansk tell their sad story----
"Most soldiers speaking in the video complained they had been forced into the Russian army because of financial or legal problems, that training was superficial, and that once deployed to the field, food and water were in short supply. One said other soldiers beat him because his asthma prevented him from moving quickly enough." (cont.)
"Almost without exception, the prisoners said their units had suffered crushing losses during dismounted attacks against well-prepared Ukrainian positions backed with artillery and FPV drones. Some reported casualty rates of above 90 percent during a single assault, with regular army Russian officers remaining behind the lines and not leading or participating in the attacks."
“We got an order to attack some positions inside a chemical factory. I don’t know, maybe there were 70 of us. We drove there at night on BMPs [infantry fighting vehicles].
“The drones came almost immediately and wiped out just about everyone. Most of us were hit. They [the Ukrainians] worked professionally. They were FPV drones using night vision. Then Baba Yagas [heavy bomb-dropping drones] came. And then kamikaze drones. Only seven of us survived and we were wounded [sheltering] in a bunker. Then they [3rd Brigade infantry] came and took us prisoner,” one of the Russian soldiers said.

Without ppp, in real terms it ranks as per gdp 11th in the world.
Per capita it's 65th, on par with Kazakhstan.
      5th in Europe.
      Estonia is 36th.
Putin could have placed Russia near the top regardless of the measurement.
That's 25 years of Putin and Co robbing the country blind.
The only reason it's powering now is that it's on a war footing.
It's growth is making war wreckage.
