Law of conservation: electric energy is converted to kinetic energy to convert back to electric energy, with loss as heat.
The motor set up is an out runner with external magnets. The large air-gap of motor is unavoidable. The alternator coil will slow the rpm of the motor.
One must remember that an exercise cycle uses magnets to increase the pedal load. As the magnet array gets closer to the flywheel, it gets harder to pedal. The same rule applies to motors and alternators.
Like the Second Law of Thermodynamic, this "Law of conservation" is a Falsehood.
"The alternator coil will slow the rpm of the motor. " Not if the Induction coil is allow to be rotatable on its axis. When you call this coil "alternator coil" shows you have no clue what you are talking about. This induction coil generates pure genuine DC current. There was no alternating polarity.
A DC generator has commutators, while an AC generator has slip rings. The ends of a simple single coil winding behaves like a slip ring isolation ! When you have ND magnets of alternating polarity rotate close to your coil you have AC power.
You connect them to an array of LED's without capacitors they will convert the AC to DC.
But notice how rpm of the motor dips when you connect the LED's !!! Motors have been around over a century, folks have figured out adding a generator to a motor coaxially does not give any useful power. One of the two has to take a beating, its a trade off.

So you make an electric motor (on the left) which you powered with electricity to make it spin. Then you put the small generator next to it which generates electricity which is less than what you put into it. If this works at all
It must be less because of friction which would create heat. Physics dictates that energy cannot be created nor destroyed. Magnetism is not energy.
