      Steam is water in air, you cannot compress water so it would be removed and you'd have only hot air.

      @@DonaldMcLemore-n6d steam is not water in air. That's humidity. Steam is very much compressible. As it is humidity for what matters

      @@burgy023 if you compress steam and it cools (using that cooling circuit in the video) below 100C, it will become water. You end up with air again because of the water separator. The question isn't whether or not you can compress steam, but whether or not you can do it with that device.

      @@DonaldMcLemore-n6d your answers are wrong on so many levels I don't even know where to start. there is no air in steam! Steam saturation temperature and condensation occur at different temperatures with compression. Compressing steam makes is hotter than you can possibly cool with the compressor interrefrigeration. Please do not talk about things you don't know. My original question was serious.
