I seen some great footage of someone using the DJI fpv. It just takes a little different style of video. But I did choose the ma2 instead. I like the battery and video footage of the ma2

Hey Nick really appreciate this content I'm looking to buy fpv drone pretty soon. Would you say that you can make money from using this drone on small shots or even professional shots. I've heard that there are better drones for this but is it possible to use this done. Also are the common repairs fixible seems like the arms are the most damaged

      Hi Jay.
I have to say that I wouldn't buy this for commercial work unless you were sh*t hot at flying FPV. If you are, there are some cool ways to make money, including stock video, with the DJI FPV drone.
      Fast/extreme sports mainly.
However, you might want to look at the Mavic Air 2. A much better option for commercial work.
The FPV drone "can" do it but the camera and battery life isn't nearly as good.
      Air 2...lovely! 👊😎👍

It’s hard to make a decision between the mavic 2 pro or the a FPV may the mavic is a better catch

Whenever I go drive I have cars passing me by at twice the speed....everyday people get in horrible accidents. This drone goes places people do not. 99.9% of the time when I go fly I try and keep it cool....not fly in cities, over congested roads or anything like that. I can see how some people might have a hard time but there are places you can go and safely fly these things alone. I get it there was a rule but if you look at other FPV users on youtube you will see a vast amount of us just don't have spotters to take everywhere.
So play it cool, but don't give up because you are picking areas that might have people around...and when you fly don't fly above your paygrade because that alone is what causes accidents. Have some fun i know I love FPV more than anything right now. Thanks to the DJI FPV DRONE I've spent an extra couple grand on traditional drones of all different types.
Play it safe and if it makes you uncomfortable flying alone by all means do what you think is right :)
Thanks for the video - I hope you don't give up on FPV just yet :)

Fantastic comment so thanks for taking the time. I 100% hear what you are saying and totally agree.
I forgot to mention in the video that I bought this drone purely for a project I had been hired for. Filming 2 super fast military ribs that were due for release this summer. Sadly the project got stopped when an investor pulled out. I bought the DJI FPV to prepare well in advance of that shoot.
However, I fell in love with the FPV drone and whole system and love flying FPV. Right now though, I would rather spend the money on lenses that I need for upcoming commercial jobs (interviews, weddings etc).
I will definitely get back into FPV and will wait for the DJI FPV II ; )
In the meantime, I plan to get a smaller FPV set up to practice. I have been flying drones for so long now I prefer to actually have a reason to fly rather than it being all recreational. I like to either shoot commercial projects or stock footage and at the moment, I have way too many things going on to commit/travel etc.
Anyway, if my video came across as "anti DJI FPV" that is not the case at all. If I am being honest, I am a little gutted to be selling it but it's just gathering dust right now.
Thanks again for commenting and have a great Sunday.

@@NickStubbs your not Anti DJI and I understand you 10000000%...this drone isn't cheap by any means, and I can see how it can really benefit if you area actually making some money off of it.
I agree as well that the smaller drone to mess around with is a great idea. The dji is fun and all but without a real purpose that is sure allot of money to throw onto FPV, especially for something kinda fragile like the fpv drone.
I do see how the dji would be a good choice for new people to the scene though, having all the fail safes and everything like that sure does add to the peace of mind when I take it out.
So yes and yes I see where you are coming from, and I myself would love making something out of this drone other than just flying it around everyday, which I love :)

Build your own drone. Never communist dji. Unless you want useless drone in the apocalypse because you can't log into dji to fly.

@@NickStubbs it's coming I give it within 8 years. I got a homebrew drone with solar charge setup. Dji drones are friggin awesome but I'll never buy one because of how restricted it is. I'll follow the rules but checking in with bigbrother before I start the vehicle is too far and I will not support it..
