I would probably do a French seam. More work, takes practice, but worth it- looks so polished. I need more practice myself, but I love it. Thanks for sharing this technique and video!

Нравится смелость, с которой автор все делает! Вы правы, что не все так просто в искусстве шитья! Нужно ведь швы качественно обрабатывать, чтоб потом края не осыпались при стирке, но не у каждой женщины дома есть оверлок!
Exactly 😅 for a seasoned tailor it seems so easy to make, but for an amateur beginner it may be so difficult and slow, takes days to finish just one piece. Furthermore without an overlocker it will become even slower 😪 ⅖³²²

I made up a simple pattern for a nurse friend based on this shape. And then I taught her how to use the sewing machine. Not only does she have scrub tops that now fit (she is overweight but carries on her hips) but she worked out that it has saved her $500 in one year alone.

Si la tela es elástica habría que hacer el borde inferior, el borde de las mangas y el cuello con aguja doble para punto ya que da una puntada elástica. Aguja gemela punta de bola las llaman.

Ok I have fell in love with this Channel. She makes it look so easy. I have a request if I could ask. That in the description portion if she could say what amount of fabric, items she would be working with for each item. I mean the bias I didn't even think of for the collar. I would also like to hear her talk about what got her into sewing, what age was she when she started, who taught her to sew, and things like that? The other thing is, does the item costs to sew or buy? I realise it might take one video to do it the main qurstions , but maybe she could talk about the item she would be sewing at the start of a video. Each video is so fast, and I thought it would help anyone watching like me to know some basic. Maybe she could put up a ruler for example today's item is a beginner sewing experience or today maybe difficult but with the video to assist it can be made easy. Ok I'm judging and making unreasonable ideas. I have just loved watching and would love to get a chance to get the items needed for that days project and be able to sew along. No not at this speed I mean get it laid out, cut, sew, and finish. Doing it with her at the same time pausing the video till I get up to the video. Music is nice and she has wonderful taste. Thank you for sharing your great experience with us the viewers

Gorgeous fabric. I often hear, "I love your blouse/pants, where did your get that"? I sew those loose fitting wide legged dress pants often and people want them. LoL. I sew for myself. Its easier than trying to find my style.

В 90-е купила блузку, по которой точно так же потом кроила себе. Этот крой очень мне шел. Я постарела, поднимала выше вырез, сужалась блуза, а крой по-прежнему выручал. А блузку и сейчас иногда надеваю. Ткань неснашиваемая, и очень мягкая и легкая. Повезло.

Very good video, I also love the material you chose. No disrespect intended, just an idea here for you, my mother is almost 90 and she taught me how to do the open side seams. She advised me that turning the hem first and then the open flap seam next, over the actual hem, looks tidier when one is sitting down and the side flaps open, you don't see the open bit by the hem. As I said, not a critisim, just a thought, and an idea from 'the olden days' of sewing. I love watching all your tutorials and tips, thanks so much for sharing. Edy
