If you have a model that doesn’t have an inside and outside window you would simply duplicate the faces, split them away by .001 then be sure to flip the normal/faces on the inside decal, then your texture will be mirrored on the inside. Hope that makes since. It’s actually a bit easier because you’d only have one object.
Is there any way to add windows to tractors such as the 6R so you can have an inside and outside window, I have used this tutorial on the 6R but I can only get it to appear on the outside, just doesn't really make much sense to me that in game tractors have different window setups and dont all just have the same inside and outside window setup.
I’m not quite sure what you’re asking but yeah you just need 2 objects placed nearly at the same location but make sure the normals are in opposite direction. Honesty it can be the same object just be sure it is double sided so that one face is visible from the inside and likewise on the outside. That’s what I am referring to “normals”. Be sure you check your face orientation in blender.
I understand but I assume you want to see the glass on the inside and outside correct? You need a face for the inside and the outside. It can be 1 or 2 objects you just need 2 faces. The game can only render 1 side of a face. That is why I mentioned to be sure your normals are flipped the correct direction as well. I show what to check in ur settings in the video. I can’t remember right off where it is but be sure you are seeing blue not red in the direction of the view you want or it will be invisible in game.
@@bdbssb77 yeah I got it to work in the end with your other tutorial on how to do it with a single pane of glass, I created to and set them to 0 so they were on the some location and it worked great 🙂
Ok glad you were able to get it. Just be careful. If they’re not offset just a very small amount sometimes they will flicker in game because the faces are on top of one another. I’ll usually offset faces near one another at least .001.
It will get better. It’s just been uploaded so it takes time for better resolution to show. I just watched it in hd. While watching I see why the one decal was flickering. I moved the decal as an object instead of the faces haha.
so, I have this sick ass logo for this 1993 OBS, and I don't know how to make the logo go on the door, can you help with that??? The logo is made from Paint 3D and it won't go thru to Giants Editor please help!!! 🆘

Images with alpha (invisible parts like decals) you use dtx5. Images without alpha are dtx1. Any image that will be used in the 3d world use mipmap. Store and I icon images (2d you’re not moving around) don’t need mipmap. Please go to my site, hit my contact, and join my discord if you need more help.
bdbssb I don’t have paint.net but I have a ddx format logo. And my new problem is when I paint something with a image, it all does that image. Do you know how to fix that?
I think what ur saying is the image shows up in more than one place? If that is the question it’s because it’s sharing uv position, or other parts are sharing the material. Material can be changed in the i3d with notepad. It’s going to be easier to help you in discord.
