Snow, and I live in Athens Ohio, we have no amount of snow. But we have had some snow flurries. And it's been cold. And when my father passed away,I've had a cardinal coming around my house all the time. Then my brother passed away on a car accident the flowing year, and now I have two Cardinals. And I always tell them both hi. Just love them.

It is snowing in Ellensburg, WA. Oh yes! Spreading joy amoung the skiers, snowboarders and jeep enthusiasts. The Santa in the red lantern looks like he's on the phone in an English phone booth to me. Everytime you start a video off with, "I'm using these thrifted items.", my heart sinks because we have nowhere comparable in this small town to find similar items. And every darned one of them is so adorable and what you do with them is so awesome and original it's like going to a crafting museum to see the Master's works for me. I may not be able to duplicate them but I sure can enjoy them. Thank you for sharing your incredible talent with us so generously and lovingly. You rock.

The cardinal dome is beautiful, it reminds me of my grandma. She loved cardinals and collected anything that had to do with them, she had over 2000 in her collection when she passed a few years ago. Nowadays whenever we see a cardinal flying around we say hi to grandma, since my family believes it's her stopping by to check on us. She would have absolutely loved it!

Brandy, I am a new subscriber...I LOVE your creativity. You are amazing and so inspiring. No SNOW in my county in NY, but it was raining today so I took your lantern creation and made a dupe using Dollar Tree picture frames to construct a lantern. I had several battery operated mini lights, two resin cardinals, sticks, moss, and an assortment of greenery to add to my lantern. It isn't as amazing as your lantern, but I love it. Thank you for the inspiration.

In Southwest Ohio, where I live, we rarely get snow for Christmas! As a child, growing up in eastern Michigan, it seemed to snow every year! On e presents were opened, by 9 children, we would eat fresh baked pecan rolls, and we would bundle up to go outside to play with any outside toys we received from Santa! My family didn't have much, but my mom and dad would make Christmas very special, by making many gifts, and mom would spend weeks making cookies, sweet breads, and planning for a fancy and delicious Christmas dinner!
For me, if it's going to snow, I want it to snow us in!!!

No snow in my area of WV. These were all very pretty. My favorite is the cardinals in memory of my husband. I lost him to lung cancer last year but he is healed by God's grace now.

Snow! There’s no snow where I live, thank goodness! We usually only get ice and not much snow. These centerpieces are adorable!! You’ve given me a good idea with the lantern. I bought a small lantern this past summer at a garage sale and I might make a centerpiece for my table this year with it! Thank you so much for all of the wonderful ideas and inspiration! I love all of these beautiful DIYs! The ones with the cardinals and the Santa lantern are my favorites. We have cardinals in our tree in the backyard. We put out treats and food for them.

Snow. I live in Maine and we have had a little snow. I haven't had much because I live on the coast and we have gotten rain. The green velvet deer turned out stunning. ❤

Cardnials are rare here in MT because we dont have a long season of warmth but we do get alot of different birds during Winter migrations.
I love all the projects but the first one, and the silver pinecone reminded me of home so very much I havent been home in over 23 + years. Your Cardinals remind me of all the losses this past year and the last five years especially.

SNOW ☃️ I live in Florida we’ve only had snow here once in 1989. I’ve traveled and seen snow and love it. The cardinal piece is m favorite!! I’m going to try and recreate it for my mom. She lost her dad several years ago who was an avid bird watcher. 🥰

It amazes me how you can take thrifted things and turn them into something so beautiful! So far where I live in Nebraska we have only had a dusting of snow, but other parts have had a good amount. Not looking forward to the 28+ inches they are predicting for the winter.

Hi Brandy! Oh my goodness these are absolutely gorgeous. I love them all. The cardinals and the deer are probably my favorite but that is a hard decision to choose a favorite. Thank goodness we don't get "SNOW" here in SC that often. Although, it has been really cold this week and that is unusual for this time of year. No snow where I live in Ohio yet. I love the story about your cardinal. I have a hand painted tile that I bought from a friend that has a cardinal in a tree on it. I bought it because it reminded me of the son I lost at the age of 19.

G'day from Melbourne Australia..really beautiful creations..you are so lucky to have access to so many "thrift shops"..here in Oz, we call them "Op shops"..(opportunity shops)..,trouble is there are maybe 4 or 5 in one area ..and they arent cheap..sometimes $12 for pair of jeans or $6 for an ornament..then the other issue is too many people going in and grabbing the great finds..it never was like that in the 70's and 90's..anyway..really beautiful and inspirational..I enjoy your ,"everyday person" content..kind regards and wishing you and yours, salutations for the season..Karolyn
