Question: I've always heard that gyro-stabilizers don't work well on boats over about 40ft or so. But I saw that Bennetto is putting them on their new 62. A gyro-stabilizer would work much better at anchor than a 'flopper stopper'. Would a larger gyro-stabilzer work on a 55 to 65ft boat? Have you (Nordhavn) considered incorporating one into this size range? Can gyro-stabilizers be used in tandem with fin stabilizers? Thank you.
I have always wondered how well gyro-stabilizers would work on a catamaran to keep it from flipping or for that matter on a car to keep it from flipping.
Very nice. I have always liked these 57s. Thank you and be safe.
