For me the window trick is quite useful if u park the car outside the mosque during friday prayer or ur going to a kampong area with no proper roof parking 😆

windows ventilation mode is not really a gimmick iIF car owner install door visor..nobody gonna notice the window opening behind the door visor

The Car Looks More Attractive In Your Video! Great Video Quality!
Few things you have missed out. You did open the rear hatch, but you did not show the full sized spare wheel which I think is an advantage and the subwoofer that sits on top of the spare wheel. I find the subwoofer placement innovative.
You are a skinny dude , that is why you did not have problems with the seat space of the car. I have test driven it in COSE , for a fat human, the 2 silver bars right beside the seat protruding from the center console hogs alot of seat space in reality.
The car is consider tall and high seating position. Older folks might find it abit difficult to get in especially people who has knee problems.
When I started the car, I tried to hook my phone to the audio player, it reads my Iphone X as IPod , that audio player has no Apple CarPlay or even Android Auto. No Google Map but only Baidu Map.
On the move, this car feels like a Mazda CX-5 2.0L , I expected more torque from a turbocharged engine and perhaps a more instant/aggressive throttle response , which makes us easier to change lane during traffic jam.
I'm impressed with a few things:
1. 360 degree camera. This is amazing. In this country, alot of motorbikes just like to park right in front or the back of your car in side parking, sometimes blocks your exit. The 360 camera is Godsend.
2. NVH is at continental car level. Excellent soundproof. As good as an Merc E class. Better than BMW 3 series .
3. The top spec Nappa leather is also on another league. No Japanese car other than Lexus has such premium material.
4. The door trim is not made of hard plastic. I can squeeze it , no "tuk tuk tuk" hard plastic sound when you knock on it unlike most Japanese cars or even the other Proton cars.
5. The instrument cluster looks impressive for this kind of price. It looks better than a Honda CRV or even Mazda CX-5 , these are in the same segment as the X70.
We poor peasants can only salivate.
Proton is on upper tier now compared to Perodua just based on the pricing. It's like watching a boy turned into a grown business man (albeit some would say he sold out) but still 😁
Not really. Perodua just doesn't sell cars, as of now, that is in the same class as all Proton cars. For example, Perodua does not have a vehicle that is in the same segment as the X70, Preve, Perdana, Suprima S and even Persona. So obviously the X70, for example, would sell at a far higher price than Aruze. To make it clearer...for example, the Perodua Aruze is in the same segment as the Honda BRV and the X70 is in the same segment as Honda CRV.

X70 meant to be sold IN Malaysia, so you've only got a few specific accents to worry about and program it for. On the other hand, Apple sells globally.

Bukan nak menidakkan SUV yg lain. Tetapi X70 ni antara model yg terbaik pernah di keluarkan oleh Proton. Tgok bahagian belakang aje dah cukup mengancam mcm Range Rover. Berbaloi memg berbaloi. 1.8 Turbo pada hrga rm123K. Syabas Proton.
That 360° camera... I’m really impressed! It works just like the one in the BMW 7 series and Rolls Royce Phantom! The resolution isn’t as good though.
Just upgrade the cam to hi res 360 birdview ones in aftermarket for 2-3k..no need to change headunit
crysisownz A bit risky though, it might not be the same as it’s supposed to be. It requires specific camera mounting angle, and probably some software modifications. Nevertheless, who would’ve thought that a Proton (or rather, a Geely) comes with a feature that not even a Mercedes S-Class has!

Help abit cooling down the inside rather than having super toasty inside when you comeback. Ofc, just small opening if your car got that rain shade install.

Well, looks like I have my answer. Initially, I opt for one Toyota Land Cruiser (since the luggage space is good enough for a makeshift bed) but then again, I'm always going to be on board with my country's own product.

The car is good, however, the front design is old fashion, proton needs to improve the front portion for the next facelift in order to get sales boost up.

Proton x70 ni mmg okay harga dia. The best price you will get for suv segment(compared to crv, Peugeot 3008, xtrail, mazda cx5) for all those spec, panoramic roof, leather seat, keyless etc. But my concern is years of warranty including all spare parts, lubricant and labor charge. Tau la standard pronton service center ni, kalo ade part rosak covered warranty ke bertahun2 xdpt sampai sudah. Aku beli kete proton aku dulu, beli2 xde reverse sensor, berkali2 g service xdpt tukar sbb memanjang xde stok barang. Sampai ke tahun 7 Last2 aku pon malas nk pikir. So kalo aku beli kete, xnk mende y sama berlaku. Baik pilih mazda cx5, harga mahal sikit tp g service center puas hati.

Proton X70(high tech)+7 seater + lotus ride and handling = masterpiece. Kalau beli kereta suv,tp tmpt simpan brg pun kecik hanat, rse mcm tak berbaloi pulak sbb kereta pun bonet lebih besar..seat bole duduk 5 jugak mcm kereta
