This series has absolutely shattered all my expectations. It is beyond wonderful. I refuse to call it a remake anymore. This show stands on it's own. WOW what a great video. I teared up. Just wow.
I had a hard time getting over addicted way back in 2016. experiencing the same thing this time around. the cast and crew did a great job.

The way they let out their emotions when there’s a confrontation between the two, the way you can feel the palpable tension 0:56 1:17 1:20 2:20 2:52 2:59 and it’s always Wu Bi letting Su Yu hit him 1:01 2:43 and he’s the one with the fighting skills, but he wouldn’t in any way hurt Su Yu, that’s why it pains me whenever Su Yu lands some punches on his face. Wu Bi uses his fists only to protect him 2:41 he was also the one teaching him how to defend himself 2:46 not even letting his head but the ground 3:01 😢
But regardless of everything, they are each other’s home, they are two hearts wanting not to be lonely, one not wanting a shared love and the other looking for a home and already claiming him and knowing for sure that they are not extra to each other 2:54. I loved how Wu Bi looks here 1:40 it’s so heartfelt and the lyrics go so well with the moment.
Wu Bi is an open book, if he feels attached to someone he lets the person know 1:22 but Su Yu bottles things up, vent with homework and when it gets suffocating and he can’t take his suffering anymore, when he’s missing Wu Bi the most 1:48 1:59 he then goes to Wu Bi, making him happy 2:07
I love how this edit really captures the essence of their relationship and their whole dynamic. They are becoming the best version of themselves. One pushing the other forward 2:04. They are just beautiful together 3:04 3:22 you are already that person Wu Bi 3:10 🥺 their dynamic with Duo Duo is beautiful 3:16 1:32 and she is now shipping them 👀
Wu Bi being the one walking away is very telling of how hurt and jealous he was 3:25 and it’s Su Yu staying there, just watching the one he loves leaving 3:28 😭
Yet BinBin is straight, yet he is so deeply in love with SuYu, how does he do it,their love is real yet they cannot date, they do no sleep together, the kisses and snuggles are real yet how this heterosexual angelic guy, sensual as possible , really loves Su. I don't know how he will feel that intensity love for a woman For 3 1/2 yrs I had a non-sexualised love affair with the fellow ho sat adjacent. WE slleptin one tight bundle, always. In senior yr he married, I also settled down: very happy. 4 yrs later he comeback to me explaining e made the wrong choice. Too late

I honestly don't think that the original was good because it was true to the novel. The novel itself was toxic. I am so glad that they wrote the story in a different way and showed a healthy relationship.
