If you don't mind, you can try evening primrose oil tablets to balance your hormones. I started having hormonal acne sometime last year (I'm 35) and they've helped a great deal. Start on a low dose first and see how you get on.

The only thing that helps my acne is cutting out dairy and sugar.
I use honey when I need to sweeten my tea.
Pimple patches help if you tend to pick your skin and end up with dark marks all over.
I also totally cut off eggs from my diet and my acne stopped.

Natalie, I had terrible acne and did two courses of Isotretinoin/Roaccutane. It is such a grueling process but was worth it.
also suffered from hormonal acne, it was such a rough rough ride but never hard problematic acne since then.

Taking vitamin C tablets is so good for your skin. It can clear anything especially the cheap ones i found expensive ones aren’t that effective.

Hi Natalie, for the acne maybe you should try isoretinoin/accutane. I had acne for over 10 years, my dermatologist recommended it and my skin is so beautiful. it is the last resort for acne and with potentially permanent effect. you are not supposed to get pregnant while on it though

Hormonal acne i use microgynon i enjoy days of clear skin but the moment i fail to use it it goes back to same old
