Yeah the sound tracks to this game is awesome. I do like the song purgatory they brought over into this game, that they call battle of hendon myre i think now. I think thats like the best track in this game. Hopefully they bring over the pvp songs to DnF duel.
The lack of stages wouldn't even be so bad if there was more music to listen to. DBFZ has taught me that having a lot of music options can make the same stage feel just a bit different.
@@Wizard_Lizard_ bruh, you wan't more music? get your ass into DFO bgms, the music there is fcking epic, i recommend you to find tracks like: bakal battle theme, death dragon spirazzi bgm, karon bgm both phase 1 and 2 are sick, both for he who hid the dew and moros, moros 2nd phase bgm is also sick.
the characters all look really cool in this game but there are core mechanics from the original game that are missing in this game quick rise, (you can hold the wakeup option for up to few seconds, release at any point to get up or hold for the full length for a few frames of armor) movement, (going in and out to try and land a hit was a bit part of the game and it feels like the characters have a very hard time moving in this game) combo juggle limit (once the combos go too long they fall to the ground faster so you can't juggle people forever and it was based on damage dealt) these are actual mechanics from the original game that were core to how it played so for none of them to be in this game sucks
DNF Duel is such a cool game that it deserved more attention and even more dedication from its producers. Is there any way to get the general public interested in this game? Or did the nonsense of leaving the game without support for almost a year doomed it to a failure that there is now no way to fix?

I'm honestly quite suprised she was added so much later in the game considering her fighting style. She's a mix up fighting character! I was hoping she was gonna be avaliable upon release. Nontheless I'm very excited to see her finally added into the game.
I guess arcsys really wanted a puppet character so they added enchantress as the first f.mage rep instead of battlemage. The only decision they made with the base roster that bugs me is having two m.slayers(berserker and ghost blade), and having 0 f.slayer. It seems like they chose spectre as their f.slayer rep from the start but later thought spectre dlc would sell better than ghost blade.
Am I the only one that has issues run canceling in the game? I drop some combos cause I have to run but feels like there's a particular timing for dashing first if not it won't work. Might be skill issue, but anyone else have this issue?
Game needs more/better defensive options in my opinion. Maybe rework a few characters and is in dire need of balancing. As far as this character goes tho she looks fun
I feel like the game would be better if they got rid of all the 1-touch, 2-touch, 3-touch till death combos. That and I agree with you about including more defensive options.
@@TheMixedPlateFrequency Fighting games matches are not supposed to drag on long because it will get boring real fast and plus it’s a fight I shouldn’t have to touch you five to ten times for you to die that’s not how fighting games work. Three times is more than good enough.
@@damonte985 Unless its a really good punish then I think things like three touch deaths are a bit wild if its for majority of the cast I guess. DNF gives you tools to get those a bit too easily

I personally see the very aggressive gameplay of this game as a problem that discourages casual players instead of encouraging them. The game has simple buttons and commands, but they serve more to make it easier for high-level players to land their deadly combos at all times. And I definitely think this makes the match boring to play and watch. For example, the fragility of a character jumping in this game is very exaggerated. There is no air defense, there is no type of combo breaker and almost everyone hits easily at big distances. I believe improvements to overall gameplay are needed for DNF Duel.

Wish we were getting more than just one stage this season, but still better than nothing. My anticipation for the next character is building!

This is awesome! Going to lab her for optimal damage and crazy combos. I didn't put that much work into Brawler like I should have. 😢

Please make ghostblade a real character. No usable reversal in a game like Dnf duel is madness. At least give his 5s a hit box on both sides
