March of 92 I was finishing my senior year of high school in Miami. Knowing what I know now….I would have hopped on a plane to wherever this took place.
I don’t know if I would call this song ‘rocking’. Wistful perhaps. Does bring back the perfume of youth for any of us who grew up in this era. Like a first crush: simple, beautiful, relentless and overwhelming.
I didn't even grow up in that era but I know exactly what you mean , the feeling is quite depressing but melancholic , certain songs can just bring something out of you without knowing how to attain or control that beauty
I saw them touring with the Charlatans a year or so ago. The Charlatans were awesome but one thing I remember thinking about this band was how exceptionally talented they were, musically. It felt like you were in the presence of virtuoso musicians.
The vocal harmonics are absolutely beautiful here. Tell me about making a rocking tune even more fantastic when played live!
