I really wasn't expecting this video to do well at all since my channel has been primarily focused on FNaF SFM for the longest time, and I just fell out of that quite recently, but this has sure been a pleasant surprise and I can't put into words how much this means to me! Swear I’ve had a few nightmares about strange characters appearing on my computer screen while I’m just trying to work. While not my biggest fear, this captures it really well.
The fact that the game is running smoothly on a computer, has a custom hud, and was able to be modified this extensively in a time where the decompilation didn't exist implies they somehow got the actual full source code of Mario 64
This really does feel unique. I have high hopes for the future of this. This is actually unsettling at times. I also appreciate how the recording looks dated as if it was made in the 2000's. This is amazing! Cant wait to see what is next!

this was awesome! the visuals are gorgeous and theres such a cool sense of mystery. the unique designs (like for the nurikabe sprites and mr plumber himself) are soooooo yum, and the 3d segments? what a treat! excited for whatever youre thinking of cooking up in the future :D
I hate to be a 🤓 but how is this _analog_ horror? analog horror refers to VHS and other analog medium - this is a digital recording, so it's closer to digital horror than anything it's a simple mistake to make though so I don't blame you :P

When I see the term "analog horror", I usually think of (usually bad) VHS horror videos with terrible filters and the same tropes being overused over and over again, but when you redefine "analog" to mean a copy of something else (Mario in this case), it actually makes a lot of sense.
Fun fact: The ‘Nurikabe’ is a kind of mythical creature in Japan that takes the form of a giant (sometimes white) wall that likes to block the way. (Hence the Whomp’s grotesque appearance)
