You can find our official merchandise at www.shopbmsgarage.com
Love your family. Grate Video. Ben , your the best. !!!!!
Great family Ben. Beautiful hard working and good humored wife and really good kids.
Nice work, guys! Good looking deck. Going to be a real treat to follow along as the house comes together inside and out!..
Nice job!👍👍
I enjoy watching your channel you guys are so great together
Looks good guys
Love your boys, reminds me of mine and the trouble they get into.
Good stuff.
I'm retired from doing carpentry/construction now and just keeping busy doing handyman jobs. Doing framing and building decks were the best part. Laying decking got to be hard on the knees and lower back so I'd do like your daughter did and sit on my butt to screw the boards down. I really am enjoying the family interaction.
Very interesting 🧐 content guys, thanks for sharing. Really like the deck, looks amazing 🤩.
Super job on the south deck, nice to see the family all working together, despite the weather.
Oh yeah we have fun!
Miss you on FabRats, but loving your channel. Great content.
Great video
Howdy all 🤠🌵
Natalie is turning into a good hard worker like her mother. The Boys need to start learning more from Ben and Mom so they have skills when there on there own. Love the channel
Yeah, she's got a great attitude. I think the boys know they've struck more than lucky with a highly capable Mom and Dad like that to learn from.
good Truck!!!! Hiya Ben!!!!
VERY NICE.
I ENJOY ALL OF YOUR FAMILY ALL THE CONTENT IS GREAT BUT KEEP THE COLD , I LIVE IN THE TOP END AUSTRALIA ITS LOT WARMER HERE BUT OUR MOSOON IS HERE SO ITS RAINING HARD. KEEP WARM ALL THE BEST .
Don’t be grossed out by drinking roof water. Where I’m from that’s our primary source.. a rain catchment system. Rather drink that than ground water.😊
I look forward to y'alls videos, your family reminds me so much of ours. Thank you for including us.
Don't write off the Tahoe engine until you check the flexplate. They're known to crack and sound just like a bad rod.
add 3" hole sawed openings in the base of the burn barrell for better draught, less smoke
Ya can get that cast off easier with a oscillating tool with the half moon shape attachment. Next time👍
One day, I'll have to come up and visit you. And your family, you're all a bunch of hoots. Meaning I love you humor today is national screw off day.
You done did a good job!
Great family video building a new home and stuff. The young brothers work well together.
Great job and even better teamwork! Thanks for sharing your story. God bless
Nice teamwork guys 😊, thanks for sharing, and stay safe .
Thank you, house looks great and sturdy.Im sure you all are used to it , but look at them mountains. What a view.
Central California watching
Good job 👍🇺🇸😇🙏 every one!
"Big Ben's family ROCKS" ... thanks to you one and all !
The deck looks absolutely wonderful. Great job to all of you. Love this channel because it is family, family matters!!!!😊❤
Family is EVERYTHING!!! Thanks for watching!!!
Nice job team
👍😉
South side looks wonderful, family does work well together.
great job again.
Awesome family making awesome videos!
I love to see Home Improvements . Thanks for sharing !
Love it when a plan comes together! The deck looks awesome! Pats on the back to all of you!
I would mention that Bens truck could use a tailgate, but it'd just get mangled again.
Sure fire way to preserve a tailgate is to leave it goofed up, just as soon as you fix it, you'll destroy it again.
One on my truck is nice out of sheer luck.
Last time I bought a vehicle with with the engine hammering like that Suburban, it was actually a broken flexplate.
You had me at trying to get layout.... I'm ordering a shirt ! 🇺🇸merica
Awesome 😎 family Ben
Good day, you all are so crazy😂. I love this channel better than another channel that will not be named. Fantastic video.
A great video by a greater family!!
Deck looks awesome thanks for sharing
You guys are great!
The deck is looking good.
Try adding some avocado into your diet to prevent dry skin… in the short term rub the dry spots with some bag balm. Love the progress on your house.
The deck looks great, but I know what I signed up for....have a good week and count your blessings amen. 👋🥲👍
Yall are just absolutely hilarious. Absolutely love yall's banter.😂😂😂❤❤❤. It was so cool seeing the snow fall. I live in South Texas it was 75 today now its a cold wet 35😢😢😢
I am astonished that this channel is less than a hundred thousand subscribers! So much fun.
It’s growing slow but sure. It matches our life slow but sure😂
Nice deck..good job
Great work on the deck. Composite decking is great. Just can’t set a grill on it, without the fear of ruining it.
Great job family 🤠
Work is a 4 letter word.
Totally! It’s one of my favorites. My kids tease me that all like to do is work😂😂😄
Looks great
Nice work!!
Another great video i love the content you guys bring to the table❤❤❤
Gonna need flashing between the last deck board and the house
Not necessarily the fastest tim but you get the job done. And might I add it looks amazing.
You guys taking Dyi next level , me and wife throwing utility knives each other before done our place ! Note hide all sharp knives
You should have used a Dremel on that cast……
I know his name is Oaker, but it sounds like Ocre which is a red pigment used in artistic painting and many tribes all over the world used it in warfare as war paint , the UK, native Americans , Africans, Middle easterns and can be made by finding the rock minerals in your area. It's also a pigment in all other types of paint. Ocre literally means Red.
My mistake ocre is also spelled ocher or oaker and means reddish brown, but the rest of my statement is correct.
love the deck, you guys rocking it.😊
I could show you pictures of spider bites I've gotten but.... Didn't feel the worst one when it bit me however a few hours later it felt like someone beat me up and down with a pick axe handle. Knocked me off my feet for 3 days but thankfully I was only bruised black and blue from the palm of my hand to the elbow with no necrosis from the venom. The fangs were about 3/8 inch apart so it was a really big one and I still have a red scar from the fangs.
Tootsie Rolls are made using the previous batch as starter so today you still get some of the original 128 year old 1896 Tootsie Roll that Leo Hirshfield made in every bite of the new ones. The secrets in the...
I would have gone for 5/8 inch fire code drywall for ceilings and to separate the bedrooms plus mom's apartment. The extra time it gives you to escape and for the fire department to arrive can make the difference between a major inconvenience and a total loss with fatalities. A few fire rated doors in key locations are a good idea too. Doing disaster recovery has made me a bit more aware of the difference this can make.
I hope I get to see the completed home soon!
Me too!!!😂😂😂
Awesome
The deck looks great. The views of the mountains with the sun setting is amazing.
Looking good
what's up with the tailgate hanging onto memories. can't find a replacement, or content.
also best to put some flashing over the ledger and under decking. then another on top of decking, both obviously under finished siding.
next add some tieback hardware to them joist.
and although it's done .yikes to that regulator and propane connection under that deck . with them shitty clearance.
with all that said you guys are hard workers and good humans
Ben has been unable to locate a tailgate. It’s not really memories you really want to relive every day. For now it still works. We are on the hunt. If you know of one let us know. Ben would love to get one.
Beautiful view you have. How do you get anything done?
Slowly 😂😂 with a lot of interruptions 🤣🤣🤣
Awesome Hoodie. Hopefully you still use Beau's auto :)
Looks pretty cool so far. Doesn't the wall have to be finished or have some flashing in it where it meets the deck?
There are anchors. We installed them when we poured the foundation.
Just for hauling in the truck bed air bags work, but for pulling a trailer a load leveling hitch is best. It distributes the load more evenly to all of the tires.
Airbags are much cheaper than buying a bigger truck.
Agreed!!!
Is the house constructed of cinder blocks? If so it will withstand the test of nature
The house is made of styrofoam blocks filled with concrete and a ton of rebar! It should hold for awhile😂
Hey now that you're an expert in battery repair can you fix mine? It didnt fly very well😂 Another fun video!
At the risk of being labeled as immature I will refrain from posting any childish “deck” comments. 😂
Oh my 😂
Aloha! Marie you come my house next ! 🤙🤙🤙🤙
The deck looks great.
Less camera shaking PLEASE!!!!!!
DO you breed Shar Pei's they are so funny watching them run around in the background.
No we just have those two. They are so fun and love playing while we work haha.
Window and door flashing ?????
Yup. That is what we used. So far with the winter weather the boards have stayed dry.
How did finn hirt his hand.
Playing in PE!
@@bandmsgarage at school
big pimp no limp 🙂
👌✌👍☕cz
So can I get a nickel for every time you say so.
Sorry to say but your cousin Paul's youngest son acts more mature and growing up than your son Finn does.
Just an fyi I hate videos that make you motion 🤢
Me too!!! Sorry
Great Job
I started watching this channel thinking it was going to be Ben building things like he did at Fab Rats. Instead it’s like hanging out with the Cox family. The more videos you post the more I get to learning everyone’s personalities. I like it. Every new video feels I’m visiting my friends. Keep posting and I’ll keep watching.
Heck_Yea you nailed it!
More views and they can build cooler stuff too.
Makes you wish you were there with them helping
I love your build. I wished I could come down and help you on your build. Snowy drifts in Kansas
On point 😊
When your son's say dad it makes it feel more family oriented activities. Those are some awesome memories being made!
Really nice..............
Nice work ya'll
Looks great!
Beautiful work on the deck. Love your familly, you guys are so cool!
Tip for mixing mud for drywall. At a couple swirls of dish soap it helps keep the bubbles out. Mix it up with some water and applie to drywall. I wish i lived close to yous i would do all your mudding for the drywall. For free just because. Cant believe all the skills your wife has. ben. Its unbelievable what she can do not saying because shebis a girl but she is building the hole house 🏠
I would have found something the size of the gap and just wedged the board next to it. Screw off, then pull it out for the next run. Composite deck gets slick when wet, it absolutely will not last forever, but it does last longer than lumber.
The camera chake reminded me of MAX HEADROOM 🗿👽🗿👽🗿
Mom where is Oker. Oker is back yea. Ben that's much nicer than the Tahoe I think I would move everything that works on the Tahoe over to the Suburban. Looks great Marie. Great job all.
Awesome deck great job 👏
Do it nice because it’s done twice
