Game's not even out yet and my man's ratting people, brings a tear to my eye.
As a long time Arma 3 player my favorite mode all time was wasteland and this is just like a refined game around that!!! Factions, open maps, continually running servers, traders, NPC missions, and area of high contention for PvP, quickly respawn near friendly and run back to the fight for your gear or re-gear! I for one can’t wait
Glad someone else finally sees it as it is. Not a tarkov clone lol.
Good luck choosing a faction and then realizing your friend chose another and now you can’t play together the entire wipe.
Yea this feels close to the KOTH game play loop but with Antistasi elements too. I'm super stoked for this game

On a serious note if they add like 30 player lone-wolfs to each server included into the 3 factions with small campfire camps that would spice up the servers
Couple things that look good in this game:
1. Seems like you can ideally pick what kind of experience you want. Stick to the faction base and you’ll get some more PvE gameplay vs if you want to push another faction town you can get some PvP.
2. Getting back into the action quick. This one might be the biggest point of contention but I like that if you die you can quickly rehear and join back up with your team. There’s quite a bit of downtime in tarkov comparatively
Don’t make the Tarkov comparison lol. In tarkov, you lose everything if you die unless you insurance fraud. In Grayzone, you can just get everything back like you can in Rust. I don’t see why everyone sees a comparison to Tarkov.

I heard they’re gonna have it where if you sit long enough in one spot, there is gonna be more mosquitoes* bothering your character. Pretty realistic for a jungle base game.

Ok but why is everyone shitting on this game it looks decent and we have even cracked what the game play is going to look like. Like give it some time to grow its only in pre alpha with no pvp yet. Its like going in an ofline raid in tarkov and deciding its not fun

Looks boring. A game in current state doesn't get credit for any content that hasn't been put into it yet. Tired of positions like yours trying make everyone think a game is better than it actually is without having done anything to get credit for it. It looks nice visually. The missions look extremely bare bones and agonizingly boring. You're hyped by the graphics, but without the graphics, it would be a really bad generic game. This game doesn't do anything better than any other generic shooter does. Like. At all.
@@RedceLL1978 Its in a true early access stage. Think of when Tarkov only had factory to play on. You can always add the meat to the bones later, this is about seeing how the whole structure is and it looks fantastic.

This game has potential, but it needs some TLC. It looks decent for an alpha, but the AI, environment, and combat in general seem a little lackluster. I'm curious what it will be like for solo players.
If you play Tarkov you can play anything without any issue
After the major Fuck up by BSG i am super pumped for this game. just hoping for some smothing around the edges and more communication with the fanbase.

Game looks good because of UE5 but everything else about it looks pretty awful. It got some hype because it copied some tarkov aspects but dont think thats going to be enough to carry it for more then a small amount of players when its planning on releasing this year.

Its most likely because Arma hasnt made a new "real" game in years, and this is alot like arma. If u expected a new tarkov, this is nothing to get hyped about.

@@sherlock_backs large scale tactical shooter, with squads and 3 factions. Sure Arma is 3rd person, and a lot more than this. But grayzone is pretty much like Arma wasteland.

Game is beautiful, but the animations are ass. I haven't seen such a jank walk/run animation in a while.
Early access games are so dumb to me. Just release the game when it is done and tested

@skeezix7717 not true at all lmao. They gave away alot of keys for the closed alpha to regular people. Streamers got some keys and decided how to give them out. The rest were given out to discord and wishlist followers

I'd like the same thing but most games now a days have a major 6-7 figure budget they need to complete the game & rely on their community in these phases to help push the game forward. Only people who should not be doing early access is fully formed AAA companies but thats just my opinion

the comparison to Tarkov makes relatively little sense.
We should be happy that there are now games that try to go into as much detail as Tarkov sometimes does. I think it's useless to argue against the game because some think Tarkov "must" have a unique status, that's nonsense.
The game is more of a mix of DayZ, Arma and a bit of Tarkov in terms of weapons. what speaks against it?
I mean, it's okay to find the game boring, but there will come a time without Tarkov and at least I'll be happy if there's something similar and bigger. that's the way there...
Than don't play it? You don't understand the hype but millions do. It's a better tarkov made by actual military vets and actually know how to shoot a gun and how it handles. It's going to be THE milsim extraction shooter. Tarkov could never do this. Streets is 1/10 the size of this map and run 1/10000th as good 😂. That's the hype. A good extraction shooter PvEvP made by an actual good studio.

This looks really really boring. And take away the nice looking graphics and you just have a generic shooter that does nothing better than any other generic shooter.
It does what arma did. But arma hasnt made anything "real" for years now. So tactical shooters are dry atm.

Realistically, what does this game bring to the table that makes it better than comparable games? Just being a different game and having good graphics alone will not keep it alive
