I didn't like kpop and cpop ...but that was before I heard #XIAOJUN 's voice in MOONWALK👏. XIAOJUN is for sure the best pop vocalist❤️️ His high notes, his stable voice, his vocal range, the timbre of the voice, his backing vocals...super good. And all the other members are very very good too. It's amazing how perfectly harmonized their voices are. Sad that MOONWALK is unfairly underrated. It's #WayV's first song I've ever heard and the impact on me was huge. It's so good and different from other pop songs that I became a WayV fan at once.
Take off is probably my favorite title track, its soooo good...then turn back time, love talk, and then moonwalk. Not that i don't like them all, cuz i do, but those are the ones i listen to all the time. You should def check out some of Ten's solo work. Dream in a dream, new heroes, baby don't stop(with Taeyong, its more a NCT U mv), paint me naked, and low low(with yangyang). :) Also Wayv's b-sides are no joke, you should def look into those as well, like Domino.
It's CONFIRMED WAYV is my favorite UNIT of NCT .......i always say WAYV is Just hits HELLA DIFFERENT ....FACTS .. As always, every description you said about the group was on point. Those were also the reason why up until now, no other k-pop group can top them, at least to me. Their power, energy, and focus in their crafts are seriously on a different level. You can see that they always mean business when it comes to making music videos. Perhaps you're reading a lot about people saying that their b-sides are great. That's true, and I can attest to that. I wasn't really into k-pop back then but this group (and BIGBANG) genuinely made me listen to them and got me hooked. I am looking forward to seeing you do a reaction on their b-sides as well. However, I can't recommend a specific album because all of them are good. I mean every song in their discography is excellent. No skips.
WayV music and visual has something that we cant clearly explain which that makes their different. All i can say fo sure, almost every WayV tittle track (Take off, Moonwalk, Turn Back time) has that electric heavy guitar kind of thing, and i hope they keep that as their signature. And that masculin sexy and bad boy concept, they own it they nailed it like no others

Love all units, they each have there own strengths, there is no other rap duo like Tae and Mark, tall drink of water guys Lucas and Johnny, vocal killers Taeil and omg, Doyoung, Mr. Handsome Jaehyun and Yuta, and WinWin and Shaojun with their pretty voices. Ten, Mr. Beautiful Eyes and epic dancer, is my ult bias, and "Moonwalk" is a perfect song, which sealed the deal for me for WayV. 💙🌺
Before I saw a video or heard the song...seeing the title.. I said to myself if the WHOLE CREW DONT HIT THE MOON WALK there will be problems and sure enough my boys DELIVERED! AND YES!! WayV's tracks are untouchable. PERIOD.
Xiaojun is my bias wrecker for all of NCT, really for all of the K-Pop I follow. Doyoung being my absolute ult bias. As far as WayV goes my bias is of course Xiaojun, but there is also YangYang, and Ten, oh and Kun.
The story in WayV's "Moonwalk" MV is connected to SuperM's and EXO's storyline, as well as several of WayV's other MVs, etc. Since the creation of SuperM, where they are now taking members from each of SM's most popular groups and creating an Avengers-like supergroup, I think that was SM's first indication that from now on we need to pay attention, because all of its groups' MVs are somehow connected. If the SuperM Avengers are coming together to help EXO stop the Red Force, I think the members who are part of SuperM are the liaisons who are helping to connect all the groups -- EXO, Taemin/SHINee, NCT and WayV -- together. For example, right after SuperM released "Jopping," WayV came out with "Moonwalk" and I think "Moonwalk" is pretty much a continuation or another part of "Jopping's" storyline. I also think WayV's next MV for their song "Turn Back Time" is also part of that story. With NCT's dream concept, they could very easily connect to EXO's other world and other dimension theories. I even see parts of the story in "Moonwalk" that could be connected to SuperM's "100" and "One (Monster & Infinity)" MVs and EXO's "Don't Fight the Feeling" MV. For example, we also see SuperM in a spaceship or space capsule or on a space station in "100," which I think is connected to the space theme in "Moonwalk." In "Moonwalk" you see Ten become weightless as he floats inside what looks like a space capsule, etc. And, as you may have noticed, Ten and Lucas have a pivotal role in the storyline in "Moonwalk," which I think is because they are members of SuperM and they are coming to gather the other members of WayV to bring them into the fight. I think the apocalyptic scenes you see happening are connected to the fact that at the end of EXO's "Obsession" MV we see the world burning as the EXO members battle their alter ego clones X-EXO for control. And, I think it also is connected to the fact that we see the world burning as if an apocalypse is happening in Lay's "Sheep" Alan Walker relift version MV. And it's also connected to the meteor shower we see in the beginning of EXO's "Don't Fight the Feeling" and in some of EXO's teaser videos over the years and concert VCRs. I also don't think WayV are on Earth in "Moonwalk," or at least not a version of Earth that we are familiar with. I think WayV may be either in a dream universe or in another time and place in the future. Just like how EXO is thought to be traveling between time periods and alternate realities in their search for the Tree of Life and quest to stop the Red Force, etc. The "desert" scenes I think are showing them on another planet or futuristic world. The drones you see hovering around Lucas in the beginning of "Moonwalk", I also think are connected to the drones we see in SuperM's "One (Monster & Infinity)" MV and Kai's solo "Mmmh" MV, etc. So on that note, I think people need to pay attention to all of the storylines with all of SM's groups, because I think at least all of SM's third and fourth generation groups' MVs and storylines are being designed to connect stories and plots. Each group has their own individual storyline and concept, but when you put them all together there are threads of connection between the groups. And that includes EXO, Red Velvet, NCT/WayV, aespa and maybe even Taemin's solo work and possibly SHINee. Even though SHINee are second gen, they actually fit within the age group of third generation groups, so they sort of bridge that gap between 2nd and 3rd gen.
