Thanks for posting this. I haven’t done my rear ones on this car for a while, and found this useful. Looks like some nit-picking trolls also got to show how smart they are and vent a little self-righteous anger too, so you must have brightened their sad little days.

Never drop your caliper like that. You can collapse the brake hose and basically make a clog and it will seem as if you have a sized caliper

Great job! Right to the point, Change out pads, it's not rocket science to you critics who apparently spend 3 hours on brakes.

Don't forget to clean and lube the slide pins.. also get a cheap bungee cord or coat hanger for your calipers. Good to see DIY though!

Just take off lower bolt. Flip caliper up. Zip tie. Then finish brake pads. Reverse.

Zipties and gloves go a long way. But atleast the job is done..I guess.

Why did you put the break lube on the back side of the pads. I thought it was only supposed to go on the tips that fit into the shoes

Helps with rubbing and brake noise. It’s not necessary but it can help

Also you should have torqued the slide pins properly and the wheel lug nuts but I guess that's just me being picky

This is the messiest brake pad replacement I have ever seen. This is the guy that will take somebody's money and ruin their car. This guy cannot be trusted with anybody's car.

As soon as he dropped the caliper and let it dangle on its hose, he lost me.

Nah bro pretty sure the silicone is for the other side of the pad…
