That being said...if someone gets thrown like that by an explosion chances are said someone is no longer in one piece like the victims there were (albeit the victims in the video were really hurt but in ONE piece which likely, in reality, won't be the case especially if so close in terms of proximity).
um...please dont ever take out something that is in you! it could very well be something that is stopping you from bleeding out or so! Dont do what she did and pull the nail out instead leave it in and get help

1:31 OK I am certified in first aid and CPR and I can say right now that if something is ever impaled in you do not take it out unless you were told to do it by a doctor over the phone most of the times and I’m talking 99% of the time they want you to leave it in I have an example of the 1% when they do tell you to pull it out and it’s gone I got a nail stuck in my heel the doctor wanted me to pull out because it was a rusty nail and the longer it was in there the more chance it was action it wasn’t near any vessels from what we could tell my dad knew exactly how long the nail was and we could measure how much of it was in my heel it was a risky move but we didn’t want me to get infection from the rust and the dirt on it and I was told to do it because I was literally a two minute drive away from the hospital and I could go into the ER right away most of the time they want you to keep it in, especially in a position where it is on Trudy’s arm, there are blood vessels there, and if it has punctured a blood vessel, it will bleed the only thing keeping it from bleeding is that nail in her arm even if you don’t think it’s on a major vessel, unless you’re told to take it out by somebody who is a medical professional you don’t take it out take some thing wrap it around it to secure it there and try not to move your arm. Trudy didn’t have anything to wrap around it so the best thing she could’ve done, was got up and only used her other arm that wasn’t impaled and kept the movement in the injured arm to a minimum. never ever ever ever take something out unless you’re told to do it by a doctor most of the time if there is some thing impaled in your body they want to take it out at the ER where it’s a controlled environment and they can control any bleeding that occurs I understand this is a TV show and not real life but this is just a warning to anybody who might get some thing stuck in them just leave it where it is unless the doctor tells you to take it out go to the ER tell them you have an object impaled in you and they will take you back right away❤
