I'm a Saints supporter but it was just bloody good to see Carlton get a win. Not just get one either, but in a composed and convincing manner.

Good four quarter performance blues boy through and through. Have been in on every game we have played so far this year. This is the squad that can do damage now and for many years to come.

there are a few holes in the team mainly crummers and half back flankers with great footskills and pace

every team has now won and lose and least one game or more. its going to be a very hard season this year. can't wait for more
Nah.. happens every year... Brisbane, Dogs, Gold Coast will all drop down.. all 3 are absolute trash. St Kilda, Freo and Port will finish bottom of 8 or just outside it. Top 4 teams again will be Collingwood/Richmond/GWS/West Coast, with Essendon and Adelaide moving up the 8 to make up 5 - 8 with Geelong.
at this stage its encouraging to see. expect a much tighter season with lots of upsets.

Th3 Zm0nst3r the swans have been hanging on by a thread since 2012. I've been waiting for them to drop out and have a proper rebuild. I think this year will be it. Bottom 8 is my prediction. Could be wrong. I'm open to it. But they've gradually lost heart. So many HTBs, misfires and miskicks. The bloods culture needs a booster.
That's what happens when the AFL bombards our great game with all these new crap rules and field placements the game has become a joke!

When the 100 was kicked I remember jumping up and down and hugging my dad. The carlton fans around me went absolutely wild.

great to have a win but after almost 60 games not being able to score 100 points i think Carlton's scouts and player management havent done their job enough been a decade plus since we kicked high scores of 100 points plus

@@manman7404 haha relax buddy I only said that they had a really good 20 seconds there 😂😂😂 and honestly I expected Carlton to lose this one, so they really surprised me. But they put on a stunning performance, kicked some great goals and played really well. Yeah I still expect heaps of losses, but they played well this round, and that means they're on the right track. Cheer up mate there's no need to hate so hard 😂😂😂
Wear the bloody hell did you pull that from SPS? Outstanding mate, keep it up and IV been a big critic of yours. Young Dow still needs more polish but he's starting to fire up. Unfortunately I can't see why Polson is continuously picked for the 1sts though, i like the lads effort but he just doesn't quite have it yet. Battle might be on between casboult and currnow for a spot to if Levi can keep putting 3-4 goal game's together. Charlie has the tank but Levi can spend 10-15% in the ruck giving Kreuzer a hand especially if he starts to use that big frame to his advantage. Great problem to have
Diesel 84 I agree, I think they just have polson in mainly for some forward pressure, and paddy Dow needs to be a bit more composed with ball in hand, but the way he bursts out of packs is outstanding. And gibbons looked much better in midfield, they should’ve played him there all along!!
@@yacca6052 I think your right about a defensive pressure role for Polson, he's got a great look but still needs a bit longer in the 2s I think now fasolo is back on track, O'Brien out Kennedy in seams logical after today's performance. I hope Gibbons is given more time I he just looks hungry at all contest's. Dow can acrch the back and explode but his decision making isn't good, hopefully he can come good. They can't be all Sam Walsh I suppose... what a star of the comp he's shaping up to be!!
Diesel 84 I agree 100%, they need to give gibbons a bit more time to develop at afl level. And Dow is extremely quick, but he needs to make better decisions with the footy. We also need a bit more pace, maybe bringing in Williamson or Stocker after a few more weeks in the twos. But overall, we are looking like we have improved heaps, but we need to play four consistent quarters of footy, not just two.
Sam Walsh could potentially be the best midfielder the game has ever seen.
